HUUM specifies rounded olivine diabase in the 2"-4" size specifically for the DROP basket geometry - for dense stone packing, good water flow when ladling, and soft, consistent steam throughout the session.
UKU control - Local Black or WiFi, selected at checkout
The package includes the UKU Local Black control as standard, with UKU WiFi available as an upgrade at checkout. The UKU Local Black provides on-site digital control of temperature, timer, and safety functions from the panel. The UKU WiFi variant adds HUUM app connectivity for iOS and Android - remote preheat, session scheduling, and live temperature monitoring. Neither variant requires a UKU Extension Box for the DROP 7.5kW. The extension box is only required for HUUM heaters over 11kW and is not needed for any model in the DROP series.

All four DROP models share identical body dimensions and 122-lb stone capacity. DROP 4.5kW: 106-248 cu ft, 30A / 10 AWG. DROP 6kW: 177-318 cu ft, 30A / 10 AWG. DROP 7.5kW: 248-389 cu ft, 40A / 8 AWG. DROP 9kW: 318-460 cu ft, 50A / 6 AWG. The 7.5kW overlaps with both the 6kW (248-318 cu ft) and the 9kW (318-389 cu ft). In the overlap with the 6kW, the 7.5 is the better choice for rooms with cold surfaces - glass, tile, or masonry - that increase the effective thermal load. In the overlap with the 9kW (318-389 cu ft), the 7.5 is appropriate for well-insulated wood-walled rooms; the 9kW provides headroom for challenging rooms. Calculate adjusted cubic footage using the HUUM calculator and confirm panel capacity for the selected breaker size before ordering.
A licensed electrician is required for all connections. Do not connect to a GFI/GFCI breaker. The UKU Extension Box is not required for any DROP model. The optional HUUM safety railing is recommended for all DROP installations.
The HUUM DROP 7.5STU Package is covered by HUUM's 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials under normal use conditions. Heating elements are excluded from the 5-year coverage and carry their own separate warranty period. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, use of incorrect or non-approved stones, operating the heater without the required stone load, or failure to follow HUUM's installation and operating guidelines. A licensed electrician is required for all electrical connections. Do not connect to a GFI/GFCI breaker. Proof of purchase from an authorized HUUM dealer is required. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
