The featherweight design allows you and your caretaker to fold it quickly and store it on an airplane, in your vehicle, or while attending events.

With a comfortable and spacious seat, efficient leg support, and long armrests, you'll remain comfortable no matter how long you ride. Large wheels in front and back can handle most surfaces and allow you to roll over grass, dirt, sidewalks, or parking lots.

If you've been searching for a wheelchair you can bring to ball games, concerts, the mall, or on your next vacation, the Journey Air Elite Lightweight Folding Electric Wheelchair is the solution you need. Now you can own the lightest electric wheelchair on the market and not lose any edge of power and performance.

A dual-drive system and brushless motors handle long days out running errands, traveling, or going to conferences and events. You can move through crowds, turn through tight spaces at home, or get through the airport quickly and safely with this power wheelchair.

When you're ready to board the plane, get in your vehicle, or transfer to a chair, the open-air frame and large handles above the backrest are ideal for safely entering and exiting the chair with a caretaker. The compact dimensions are also ideal for rolling up to your desk or table and performing work or eating meals without leaving your chair.

Are you looking for maximum control? The joystick fits in the palm of your hand and allows you to turn and drive naturally and comfortably. Electric brakes help you stop quickly and stay safe even in crowded locations.

Lightweight, foldable, and compact - the Journey Air Elite Lightweight Folding Electric Wheelchair is your everyday choice anywhere you need to go. Don't let limited mobility slow you down with this state-of-the-art wheelchair from Journey Health and Lifestyle.

It is also one of the easiest chairs to maneuver inside a home as it fits easily through doorways, and can go right up to a table or desk.  It also features two brushless motors which work independently, enabling this agile chair to turn on the spot.

Once you are done riding, just one pull on the seat handle folds it up for transporting, and there is also a fold-down back to make it even easier to stow and store. The Journey Air Elite also features flat-free tires and rear anti-tippers for added convenience and safety.

Just imagine how this chair can improve your life and make it easier for loved ones and caregivers to accompany you to activities and events you would have missed in the past.

As you get to the end of the jetway, you will need to remove the Journey Air Elite Chair battery from the back of the chair, fold your Journey Air Elite Chair and hand it to a flight attendant to stow it under the plane. Take the battery on the plane with you to your seat. Be sure to contact your specific airline to ask for their procedures for transporting a battery-powered vehicle, and see your Journey Air Elite USA User Manual for more info. Here is a link to the FAA regulations regarding battery-powered chairs. More info

Yes, the Journey Air Elite Chair does have a powered reverse.

Can I manually push the Journey Air Elite Chair?

The Journey Air Elite Chair can be pushed about easily when there is no rider in it; however, it is not specifically intended that seated users be pushed around in wheelchair fashion by others as an alternative to the chair's foremost purpose: a powered self-driving experience. (If you wish to prevent your Journey Air Elite Chair from being pushed from behind, you simply lock it in place.)

After trying numerous mobility aids, I finally found the perfect fit with this power chair. It's sturdy, reliable, and gives me the confidence to navigate anywhere.

The comfort level on this chair is unmatched. It feels like I'm gliding on air! So grateful for this purchase.

I absolutely love it. It has given me the ability to go places, and see things I missed doing. I am restricted to a wheelchair because I'm walking bone on bone in each knee. I am able to use a rolerator for short walks, but that is pain full, and you are still bent over unable to see nothing but the ground.
