The full-cabin enclosed geometry still produces 630 to 1,241 W/m² across the treatment surface, translating to up to 120 mW/cm² at user level the same peak user-level irradiance figure as the M5N Plus. This is achievable because the irradiance specification reflects the peak output at the central zone of the treatment surface, where LED density is concentrated, within the efficiency advantage of the enclosed cabin format. The M5 requires a hardwired dedicated circuit with breaker and RCD/GFCI protection at 3,000W available at 220V or 380V. At 3,000W it draws the same power as the M4N Plus but without the plug-in option; a hardwired installation by a licensed electrician is required. The electrical infrastructure demand is lower than the M5N Plus (5,500W), M6N Plus (6,500W), and M11 Plus (7,500W), making the M5 a practical choice for facilities where dedicated high-amperage circuits are available but 5,500W+ service is not.
The integrated mobility wheels allow the unit to be repositioned within the room after hardwired installation cable management should account for the intended repositioning range during room planning. The Merican M5 Red Light Therapy Bed is covered by a 5-year manufacturer warranty on the main unit and core system components, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the date of purchase. Defective parts will be repaired or replaced during the warranty period; shipping or service costs may vary depending on the case and location.
Warranty coverage does not include damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, unauthorised modifications, accidents, neglect, or normal wear and tear. To maintain warranty coverage, the unit must be installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
