The Mangar Leglifter comfortably assists individuals with limited mobility to their legs due to aging, illness, or injury. People who have difficulty lifting their legs have difficulty getting in and out of bed. People with compartment syndrome, cellulitis, or multiple sclerosis can use the Leglifter at their leisure to have more freedom during their bedtime routine. The hand control device mechanically raises, lifts, and transfers legs into the bed. It uses an Airflo compressor system with hand control to raise the leg lifter at a speed that best suits the user. Using the Mangar Leglifter is also beneficial to the caregiver since they are at risk of back injury performing manual assistance.

The system includes the leg lifter, paddle control, and Airflo Mk3 compressor. It's not intrusive and fits onto most beds including profile beds by attaching the Leglifter device on one side of the bed underneath the mattress. Cleaning and Maintenance of Mangar Leglifter

Cleaning

• Routine cleaning
  • Remove the cover and inflate the Leglifter.
  • Sponge clean with a non abrasive proprietary liquid cleaner or disinfectant and dry thoroughly.
  • Do not dry using hot air.
  • The cover can be machine washed up to 40°C; low heat tumble dried and medium heat ironed.
  • Do not dry clean or use bleach.

• Disinfection
  • The cover should be removed and the Leglifter fully inflated.
  • The Leglifter should be precleaned by washing with detergent and water and then disinfected using a 1:10 solution of household liquid bleach and water (1 part bleach to 10 parts cold water).
  • Leave the solution on the HPL for approximately 10 minutes before thoroughly rinsing off with clean cold water.
  • Do not dry using hot air.
