The Harvia Xenio WiFi Remote Control (CX004WIFI) is the WiFi control panel for compatible Harvia Xenio control systems. It connects to your local wireless LAN and enables full remote control and monitoring of your sauna through the MyHarvia mobile application on iOS and Android. The panel can be used in two ways: as a replacement for an existing non-WiFi Xenio panel on a compatible control system already installed, or as part of a new Xenio installation. In either case, the CX004WIFI is a control panel only - it does not include a control unit and does not operate without a compatible Harvia Xenio control system. The compatible control units are the Xenio CX30, CX45, Xenio Combi CX30C, and Xenio CX170 series. What the Xenio WiFi panel adds to a Xenio control system
A Harvia Xenio control system with a standard (non-WiFi) panel operates on the control panel buttons alone - temperature adjustment, on/off, and accessory control are all done at the panel mounted near the sauna door. The CX004WIFI panel replaces that standard panel and adds wireless LAN connectivity. Once connected to the network and the MyHarvia app, the same controls that were previously only accessible at the panel become accessible from anywhere on a phone: turn the heater on or off, set the target temperature, control lighting and ventilation, set a timed start for a future session, and configure a week timer for regular sauna days. The app also shows the current sauna status - temperature, heating time remaining, and heater state - at any time without needing to be near the sauna. For Xenio Combi systems controlling a combi-heater, humidity adjustment (20-80% RH) is also available through the app. The CX004WIFI also receives automatic firmware updates over WiFi (FOTA - Firmware Over the Air), keeping the panel software current without any manual intervention.
Replacing an existing Xenio panel with the CX004WIFI
If a compatible Xenio control system is already installed - a CX30, CX45, CX30C, or CX170 series unit - the CX004WIFI can be added by replacing the existing control panel. The data cable connects from the control unit to the new panel in the same way as the original panel, and the installation can be completed near the sauna door either as a surface mount or embedded flush into the wall. The flush mounting hole dimensions are 67 x 96 mm (2.6 x 3.8"). The panel is splashproof and rated for operating temperatures of 32-158°F (0-70°C), making it suitable for installation inside the sauna room at the correct safety distance from the heater and at a maximum height of 1 meter (39") from the floor, or outside the sauna in the changing room or adjacent room. After installation, the MyHarvia app is downloaded to an iOS or Android device, a MyHarvia account is created, and the panel is paired to the account following the in-app instructions. There is no limit to the number of devices that can be connected to one MyHarvia account, allowing control of multiple saunas from a single app.
Physical panel - illuminated buttons, digital display, door sensor
The CX004WIFI panel measures 3.34" W x 0.9" D x 4.3" H (84 x 22 x 109 mm) and weighs 0.3 lbs. The panel has illuminated buttons and a digital display that remain readable in low lighting conditions - useful for control panels mounted in dimly lit changing rooms or inside the sauna itself. The door sensor function for remote starting can be activated directly from the panel, allowing the remote-start safety circuit to be configured without the MyHarvia app. If no buttons are pressed for 30 minutes, the panel enters a power saving mode where only the heater button remains lit. The panel is certified ETL Listed, conforms to UL 60730-1, UL 60730-2-7, and UL 60730-2-9, and is certified to CSA E60730-1, CSA E60730-2-7, and CSA E60730-2-9.

Humidity and accessory control for Combi systems
When connected to a Xenio Combi CX30C control system managing a combi-heater, the CX004WIFI and MyHarvia app also enable remote humidity adjustment from 20% to 80% RH. Lighting and ventilation accessories connected to the Xenio system are controllable from the app in the same way as from the physical panel buttons.
FOTA - automatic firmware updates
The CX004WIFI receives firmware updates automatically over WiFi when connected to the MyHarvia network. No manual update process, no USB connections, no firmware downloads. The panel software stays current with the latest Harvia improvements and feature additions as they are released, without any action required from the owner.
Splashproof - installs inside or outside the sauna
The splashproof rating and 0-70°C operating temperature allow the panel to be installed inside the sauna room (at the correct safety distance from the heater and no higher than 1m from the floor), in the changing room, or in any adjacent room. The compact 84 x 22 x 109 mm body surface mounts or embeds flush into the wall with a 67 x 96 mm opening.

1-year limited warranty
The Harvia Xenio WiFi Remote Control CX004WIFI is covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers faults in manufacturing and materials under normal use conditions. The warranty includes a supply of spare parts and does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or use with non-compatible control units. A compatible Harvia Xenio control unit is required for operation - use with non-compatible systems is not covered. Proof of purchase from an authorized Harvia dealer is required for warranty claims.
