Two use cases: 2-group heaters and multi-heater large sauna installations
The LTY45 is required in two distinct scenarios. The first is when a 2-group heater such as the Harvia Virta Pro 20kW is being installed. A 2-group heater has two separate heating element groups that must each be powered through their own circuit connection - the LTY45 provides the second power group connection that the Xenio control unit alone cannot supply. Without the LTY45, a 2-group heater cannot be correctly connected to a Xenio control system. The second use case is a large sauna installation where two or more separate electric heaters need to operate under a single Xenio control - for example, a large commercial sauna room or a two-room sauna facility where two heaters must respond to the same temperature setpoint and timer from one control panel. In either case, the LTY45 extends what the Xenio control can manage beyond its native single-group load limit, up to a combined maximum of 38 kW across the system.
Compatible with the full Xenio CX30, CX45, and CX170 family
The LTY45 is compatible with the complete range of Xenio control units in current use: CX30-U1, CX30-U3, CX45-U1, CX45-U3, CX30C-U1, CX30C-U3, CX170-U1, CX170-U3, and CX1502083-15. This covers both single-phase and three-phase Xenio installations, standard and Combi control units, and the CX170 for higher-power commercial applications. The LTY45 itself is a single-phase 240V unit - each extension box operates at 240V/1PH. For three-phase CX45-U3 or CX170-U3 installations, refer to the IOM for the correct wiring configuration for the extension unit within a three-phase system.

The LTY45 is constructed in stainless steel and is designed for wall mounting - it installs in the electrical service area outside the sauna room where the Xenio control unit is also located. The unit measures 14.3" W x 2.9" D x 10.5" H (363 x 73 x 266 mm) and weighs 6.1 lbs. All wiring connections to the LTY45 must be made by a licensed electrician in compliance with local electrical codes. 1-year limited warranty
The Harvia Xenio LTY45 Power Extension Unit is covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials under normal use conditions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, use with non-compatible control units, or failure to have wiring completed by a licensed electrician in compliance with local electrical codes. A compatible Harvia Xenio control unit is required for operation. Proof of purchase from an authorized Harvia dealer is required for warranty claims. We are an authorized Harvia dealer.
