At 15kW with a 63.33A draw, the Air L 15 requires an 80A circuit breaker and 4 AWG wire - a heavier electrical installation than the Air L 13 (70A/6 AWG) or Air L 10 (50A/6 AWG). Buyers should confirm the electrical panel has capacity for an 80A dedicated circuit before ordering. In very large rooms where the Air L 13 is undersized, the Air L 15 Package is the only complete Saunum option at this output level.

This package includes the Air L 15 heater, AirIQ WiFi control, sauna stones (180 lbs), and Himalayan salt spheres. The AirIQ control supports heaters up to 12kW directly. For the 15kW Air L 15, a separate Saunum contactor box is required and must be purchased separately - it handles the high-current switching that the AirIQ panel cannot manage alone at this output level. This contactor box must be factored into the electrical installation layout before the electrician arrives. Active sauna drying
The fan runs after each session to dry the room faster than passive ventilation. For a large sauna room used frequently, active drying reduces moisture accumulation in the wood structure and extends the life of interior materials - more critical in a large room where the total wood surface area is greater.

Air L 13 PKG vs Air L 15 PKG
Air L 13 Package vs Air L 15 Package - room size and electrical requirements
Both are complete packages including heater, AirIQ WiFi control, stones (180 lbs), and salt spheres. The Air L 13 PKG (13kW) covers 424-565 cu ft on a 70A breaker with 6 AWG wire and no contactor box required. The Air L 15 PKG (15kW) covers 530-812 cu ft on an 80A breaker with 4 AWG wire and a separate contactor box required. If the adjusted room volume is under 565 cu ft, the Air L 13 PKG is the correct and simpler choice. If it exceeds 565 cu ft, the Air L 15 PKG is required. Calculate adjusted room volume using the Saunum heater calculator before ordering either model.
A standard 2-pole 80A breaker and 4 AWG wire are required for the Air L 15. The contactor box must be purchased separately before the electrician arrives. Do not connect to a GFI or GFCI breaker. A licensed electrician is required for all connections.

Saunum limited warranty
The Saunum Air L 15 Package is covered by Saunum's limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials for the heater and all included components - AirIQ control, stones, and salt spheres - under normal use conditions. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, failure to install the required contactor box for 15kW operation, or failure to follow Saunum's installation guidelines.
