Saunum's patented climate equalizer draws hot, oxygen-depleted air from near the ceiling of the sauna room, mixes it inside the heater with cooler, oxygen-rich floor air, and distributes the blended airstream evenly throughout the room. The 6-inch (150mm) safety clearance from combustible materials on all sides is consistent with the Saunum Air L's 2-inch clearance approach. Saunum Air 5 vs Air L - room size and form factor determine the choice
Both the Air 5 and Air L deliver the same patented Saunum air mixing technology, Himalayan salt reservoir, six bathing styles, and AirIQ WiFi connectivity. The Air 5 is wall-mounted for rooms from 106 to 212 cubic feet on a 30A breaker - the right choice for compact one-person and standard two-person home saunas. The Air L is floor-standing for rooms from 283 to 812 cubic feet (depending on model) at higher electrical requirements - the right choice for large home saunas and spa installations. If the adjusted room volume is under 212 cubic feet, the Air 5 is the correct model. If it exceeds 212 cubic feet, the Air L is required.
A standard 2-pole 30A breaker and 10 AWG wire are required for the Air 5. Do not connect to a GFI or GFCI breaker. Stones (4 boxes: 110 lbs for black, 130 lbs for stainless) are required and sold separately. The AirIQ WiFi control is required and sold separately. A licensed electrician is required for all connections.

Saunum limited warranty
The Saunum Air 5 is covered by Saunum's limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials under normal use conditions. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, use without the required stone quantity, or failure to follow Saunum's installation guidelines. Do not connect to a GFI/GFCI breaker.
