Will It Fit?

Dignity Lifts toilet lifts fit in almost all bathrooms.

Here is how to measure yours.

Check these things:

How far is your toilet from other things, like side walls, a tub, or vanity? The DL1, and BL1 all need 24" of width, the DL2 Toilet Lift and WL2 Bidet Toilet Lift need 25" so your toilet needs to have 12" or 12.5" of distance from the center-line of the toilet to any obstruction. (see picture below). Our CL1 needs 14" of distance on each side and our XL1 needs 15".

Most bathrooms will fit a lift.

Most commercial bathrooms are ADA compliant, so they have lots of space, most can even fit our Commercial lift.

This bathroom has lots of room. You might have to push that toilet brush holder back into the corner, but otherwise, this is great.

Even green bathrooms can fit a toilet lift.

These examples will NOT fit a lift.

This bathroom is so small that the entire thing is inside the shower. Our lift cannot be doused with water, so this will not work.

This toilet appears to be too close to that wall to fit a lift. As a reminder you need at least 12" of length from the center line of the toilet to the wall. That base molding looks a lot closer than 12".

The toilet nook in this bathroom is far too narrow to put a lift in there. The nook needs to be at least 24" wide.

This toilet is too close to the bath tub to fit a toilet lift. A toilet lift won't fit in that narrow space.

Without measuring we aren't sure if Dignity Lifts will fit in this bathroom, but we are fascinated with that wallpaper! Our initial guess would be that you would need to remove that shelf to provide clearance.

Warranty

• The Dignity Lifts Warranty covers 3 years of parts and 90 days of parts and service. Details of the warranty are as follows.  
• During the first 90 days of your ownership, Dignity Lifts will work with you and if necessary and possible a local appliance repair person to keep your Dignity Lift working properly. This warranty does not include installation of your lift, it covers only the lift itself and its operation.
• Your first point of contact for warranty repairs will be to call us or email us. Our team will handle your case. We will help diagnose the problem and fix it.
• Dignity Lifts can typically be serviced by an appliance repair technician. We can help see if there is one that services your area (rural customers might not qualify for this). We will send instructions and replacement parts to you or the technician.
• After 90 days and within 3 years of your purchase we will provide replacement parts free of charge. This does not include wear items such as batteries, grips and handles, but it does include the linkages, structure, actuators, and electrical components of your lift. If you require warranty parts, please contact us via telephone or email.
