Its Lura-Quilt™ foam helps support airflow around the heel area. The integrated PTSS Rail System provides additional support for patient transfers and edge-of-bed sitting. Optional raised rails are also available for additional support along the mattress edges.

The stretch nylon top cover provides a low-shear, low-friction surface with antimicrobial and fluid-resistant properties. The triple-laminate vinyl bottom cover offers additional fluid resistance, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, and fire-retardant protection.

The standard mattress features a 6-inch height, while the Protekt® 500 Plus offers a 9-inch configuration with additional raised-side support options. Available mattress sizes include 36-inch widths in different lengths, as well as selected 42-inch and 48-inch width options.

With a manufacturer-listed weight capacity of up to 500 lbs, the Protekt 500 accommodates a range of patient needs. Optional raised rails are available to provide additional support and assist with patient transfers.

15-Year Non-Prorated Foam Core Warranty and 2-Year Non-Prorated Cover Warranty

The Proactive Medical Protekt® 500 includes a 15-year non-prorated warranty on the foam core and a 2-year non-prorated warranty on the cover. Coverage is subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Restock fees will be deducted in amounts ranging from 15% to 25% of the value of the item being returned. The minimum restock fee on lower-value orders will be $15.
