The Merits Roadster S3 is a versatile, easy to handle 3-wheel mobility scooter built for everyday independence. With a top speed of 4 mph and a driving range of up to 12 miles per charge, it gives you a dependable way to get where you need to go.

The 3-wheel layout keeps the turning circle tight, so moving through doorways, store aisles and other tight indoor spaces stays simple. When the ride is over, the scooter disassembles into five pieces, and the heaviest single piece weighs only 32 lbs, which makes loading it into a car trunk a manageable, one-person job.

A headlight is fitted for visibility in low light, and a storage pocket keeps small personal items close at hand. Intelligent regenerative electromagnetic brakes, a 24V 180W motor and durable puncture-free PU tires round out a package designed for a smooth, safe and comfortable ride.

Warranty basics

Scooter warranty, lifetime limited. The main frame is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime expectancy of this scooter, which is 5 years.

One-year parts coverage

For one (1) year from the date of purchase, the following parts are replaced free of charge to the original purchaser if an authorized representative finds a defect in material or workmanship on examination: electronic controllers, harnesses, chargers and motors.

Remedies and costs

Parts are repaired or replaced as required, provided an authorization for the return has been obtained through an established dealer and the part or parts in question are returned fully insured with freight prepaid within the prescribed warranty period. Labor charges incurred in the installation or repair of the parts above, plus all freight charges, are not included in the warranty.

Exclusions

Plastic shrouds, tires, seating, upholstery and armpads, and bulbs are excluded. Coverage does not apply to any parts damaged by improper installation or repair, or by the owner's neglect, accident or misuse, nor to parts that have been altered or serviced by an unauthorized agency.

IBIS Wheelchair to Car Lift

The IBIS wheelchair to car lift was a game changer for us. My husband has been in a wheelchair for more than 40 years and we have never seen anything like this in the US and had no idea such a lift exist existed.

My guy is hemiplegic and usually able to stand pivot into the car but he broke his femur in November 2025 and had to be non-weight bearing for 3 months. He lost so much strength and ability that he could no longer do any kind of safe transfer.

Our friend found the IBIS wheelchair to car lift online and we decided to take the risk. It was worth every penny and more. Within a day of its arrival we were mobile and in and out of the car again. It is very manageable for me to operate and in our 60’s we are grateful for anything that lightens our load.

Everything arrived as advertised. Customer service was outstanding with clear communication. I was provided help to ensure my measurements were correct and was offered a few options to customize the sling. We had to get a new car right after we bought the lift and it was a good fit in the new car.
