The warranty is not transferable. The owner is responsible for replacing or repairing any parts or materials that wear out due to normal use. Damages caused by user negligence, as well as incidental damages, whether intentional or unintentional, are not covered by the factory guarantee. Arm pads and upholstery are not covered by the guarantee. It is suggested that any warranty claims be returned to the authorized dealer for repair from whom they were purchased.
If the Warranty Registration Card for the claim product is not on file, a copy of the invoice with the date of purchase must be sent. The consumer's warranty period begins on the purchase date from the seller. The seller's warranty period, provided the products are not sold to a customer, begins on the invoice date from Karman. The warranty is void on wheelchairs that have had the serial number tag removed and/or altered.
Furthermore, the guarantee does not cover products that have been subjected to carelessness, abuse, poor storage or handling, inappropriate operation, modification, or misuse.
All warranty repairs or replacements require prior authorization from Karman, with freight prepaid. Karman reserves the right to issue call tags for warranty repairs, depending on the case. Should a field action or recall occur. Karman will identify the impacted units and provide your Karman dealer with resolution steps. Warranty registration is still recommended.
