At only 26 pounds without the battery (29 including the battery), the Journey Air Elite is the World's Lightest power chair! And it combines that lightweight portability with world class performance. Its simple to use joystick and powerful dual drive system enable you to zip around quickly and safely.
It is also one of the easiest chairs to maneuver inside a home as it fits easily through doorways, and can go right up to a table or desk. It also features two brushless motors which work independently, enabling this agile chair to turn on the spot.
Once you are done riding, just one pull on the seat handle folds it up for transporting, and there is also a fold-down back to make it even easier to stow and store. The Journey Air Elite also features flat-free tires and rear anti-tippers for added convenience and safety.

Limited 12 Month Warranty
Journey Health & Lifestyle warrants the frame, mechanical and electrical components including the motor to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the original purchase date. The originally supplied battery, tires, fabric seat and seat back and the seat cushion are all warrantied to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the original purchase date.
Repair or replacement
If within such warranty period any such component or part shall be proven to Journey Health & Lifestyle's satisfaction to be defective, the product shall, at Journey Health & Lifestyle's option, be repaired or replaced with new or refurbished product components.
Installation and labor
In some cases an installation kit may be provided to the owner to facilitate installation of a replacement product component. This warranty does not provide for any labor charges incurred in product component installation. The warranty period of the repaired or replaced product shall terminate with the termination of the warranty period for the original product. Journey Health & Lifestyle's sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be limited to such repaired or replaced product.

Shipping Information
When you place an order, your product will ship within 48 business hours from the date of sale. For example, an order placed on Monday should ship no later than Wednesday. Our standard ground shipping typically arrives between 4-9 business days after your order is shipped.

Accessories such as a cup/bottle holder, cane holder, extra thick seat cushion, spare batteries and spare tires are available.

Yes, the Journey Air Elite Chair will fit under a desk and table. All you have to do is flip up the armrests and slide right under.
Can I take my Journey Air Elite Chair on an airplane?
Yes, and here are a few things you need to know before taking your Journey Air Elite Chair on a plane. Your Journey Air Elite Chair should qualify as free baggage with most airlines, but you can call your airline prior to your trip to make sure. You can ride your Journey Air Elite Chair all the way up to the gate and down the jetway. At the end of the jetway, remove the battery from the back of the chair, fold the chair and hand it to a flight attendant to stow under the plane. Take the battery on the plane with you. Be sure to contact your specific airline for their procedures for transporting a battery-powered vehicle.

Yes, the Journey Air Elite Chair does have a powered reverse.
Can I manually push the Journey Air Elite Chair?
The Journey Air Elite Chair can be pushed about easily when there is no rider in it; however, it is not specifically intended that seated users be pushed around in wheelchair fashion by others. If you wish to prevent your Journey Air Elite Chair from being pushed from behind, you simply lock it in place.
Is the footplate adjustable?
The swinging footplate is not adjustable; however, the Journey Air Elite Chair is designed to accommodate people of a wide variety of sizes.
Is the seat or backrest adjustable?
The seat and backrest are not adjustable. Some Journey Air Elite Chair owners with special comfort needs have chosen to add an additional cushion.
Can the Journey Air Elite Chair be used on heavily padded or thick carpet?
Customers close to the 240 lbs weight limit may find the chair a little more difficult to use on very thick or heavily padded carpet at low speed. Simply increase your speed setting to improve movement on these surfaces without significantly increasing speed.
How long will the battery last on a single charge?
Depending upon usage (speed, weight, etc.) the Journey Air Elite Chair's battery will last up to ten miles of use.
How long will the battery last before needing to replace it?
The short answer is it depends on the usage and conditions. The battery on average lasts for several years for many of our customers.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
Charging the battery takes 6-8 hours or less depending on the level of power already used. With a range of up to ten miles, most owners rarely run the battery all the way down in a single day.
How do I know if I need to charge the battery?
There is a battery indicator located on the control panel that tells you the battery life.
Is the battery included in the weight?
Yes, 29 pounds includes the weight of the battery.
Will the charger work in foreign countries?
Yes. The charger will operate on 100V or 220V, but you will need an inexpensive plug converter to fit the outlets of your foreign destination.
