HUUM Safety Rail for STEEL Series Sauna Heaters

The HUUM Rail S (part number H3006012) is a safety railing for the HUUM STEEL electric sauna heater. It is a light wooden railing with stainless steel supports that goes around the heater and helps prevent accidental contact with the hot heater body. The supports attach to the heater itself and clamp to its outer wall. It also gives the heater a styled look that complements the sauna interior. HUUM recommends having a safety railing in every sauna. The Rail S is made for the STEEL and is not interchangeable with the CLIFF heater's rail. The heater, controller, and stones are sold separately. Includes an installation manual.

A guard around a hot heater

A sauna heater runs at a high temperature, and the heater body is hot to the touch. The Rail S puts a wooden barrier around the STEEL so that bathers do not brush against it by accident. The wooden profiles match the look of a sauna interior, and the stainless steel supports hold it to the heater. It is a contact guard only. It does not reduce the clearances to walls, benches, and ceilings that the heater's own manual requires.

Check the fit before you order

The Rail S is made for the HUUM STEEL electric heater, which one dealer lists in 6, 9 and 10.5 kW sizes. The CLIFF heater has its own rail (Rail C), and the DROP and HIVE heaters have theirs, so the rails are not interchangeable. The sources we checked do not clearly confirm whether the Rail S fits the STEEL Mini, so please check with us before ordering one for a STEEL Mini. One dealer lists the assembled rail at about 23.45 x 23.45 in, so plan the space around the heater with that in mind.

Installing and caring for the rail

According to HUUM's installation manual: join the wooden profiles into a frame with the 4 corner plates. Screw the brackets to the wood, leaving the inner screw loose so you can adjust the bracket later. Set the railing on the heater so that the heater's outer wall sits between the side bends of the brackets, then fully tighten the loose screws. Finally, bend the lower ends of the brackets tightly around the heater wall, preferably with pliers, so that they cannot move. The manual also says to treat all wooden parts with a heat-resistant, non-toxic wood preservative, and to reapply it at least once a year, to prevent warping, cracking, and decay. The preservative is not included. Installation of the heater itself must follow its own manual and local code.

Why the HUUM Rail S stands out

Guards against accidental contact

The wooden railing surrounds the heater and keeps bathers from brushing against the hot heater body. HUUM recommends having a safety railing in every sauna.

Light wood and stainless steel

The rail is made of light wooden profiles with stainless steel supports. The wood suits a sauna interior and gives the heater a styled look.

Clamps to the heater

The rail is fastened to the heater itself rather than to the sauna structure. Its brackets sit around the heater's outer wall and are bent tight to hold it in place.

Adjustable during assembly

HUUM's manual has you leave the inner bracket screws loose until the railing is seated on the heater, so you can adjust the fit before tightening everything.

Corner plates and brackets

The manual has you join the wooden profiles with 4 corner plates, fix the brackets to the wood with screws, and bend the bracket ends around the heater. The manual shows each step.

Made for the STEEL Series

The Rail S is for the HUUM STEEL electric heater. The CLIFF heater has its own rail, so match the rail to your heater model before ordering. We are an authorized HUUM dealer.

IBIS Wheelchair to Car Lift

The IBIS wheelchair to car lift was a game changer for us. My husband has been in a wheelchair for more than 40 years and we have never seen anything like this in the US and had no idea such a lift exist existed.

My guy is hemiplegic and usually able to stand pivot into the car but he broke his femur in November 2025 and had to be non-weight bearing for 3 months. He lost so much strength and ability that he could no longer do any kind of safe transfer.

Our friend found the IBIS wheelchair to car lift online and we decided to take the risk. It was worth every penny and more. Within a day of its arrival we were mobile and in and out of the car again. It is very manageable for me to operate and in our 60’s we are grateful for anything that lightens our load.

Everything arrived as advertised. Customer service was outstanding with clear communication. I was provided help to ensure my measurements were correct and was offered a few options to customize the sling. We had to get a new car right after we bought the lift and it was a good fit in the new car.

We are very pleased and highly recommend this product.
