HUUM Protective Floor Plate for HIVE Flow Series Sauna Stoves

The HUUM Protective Floor Plate (part number H3017012) is a safety accessory for HUUM HIVE Flow wood-burning sauna stoves. It is meant for stoves that stand on a wooden floor or another combustible floor, and it helps protect that floor from fire risk under general fire safety requirements. The plate measures 420 x 450 x 20 mm (16.5 x 17.7 x 0.8 in), and it has an upturned edge that tucks under the stove or its protective bedding. HUUM's manual says it is suitable for all HIVE Flow heaters. The stove and other accessories are sold separately. Includes an installation manual.

Protecting a combustible floor

A wood-burning stove that stands on a wooden or other combustible floor needs floor protection. The Protective Floor Plate gives you a ready-made plate for that purpose, made by HUUM for the HIVE Flow. It is an addition to the stove's own floor protection and clearance rules, not a replacement for them, so always follow the stove's manual and local code for the floor protection your sauna needs.

Check the fit before you order

The Protective Floor Plate is made for the HUUM HIVE Flow stoves, and HUUM's manual says it suits all HIVE Flow heaters. If you also use HUUM's LS protective bedding with a HIVE Flow, the plate goes down first, and its upturned edge sits under the bedding. Please check with us if you are not sure which accessories your stove model needs.

Installing the plate

According to HUUM's installation manual: remove the protective film from the plate, then fasten the plate to the floor. You can use screws that suit your floor material, moisture-proof double-sided tape, or a silicone compound. These fixings are not included. Place the plate so that its upturned edge stays under the heater or under the protective bedding. One dealer adds that the plate goes in front of the heater, not under it, so see the manual for the exact position. Installation of the stove itself must follow its own manual and local code.

IBIS Wheelchair to Car Lift

The IBIS wheelchair to car lift was a game changer for us. My husband has been in a wheelchair for more than 40 years and we have never seen anything like this in the US and had no idea such a lift exist existed.

My guy is hemiplegic and usually able to stand pivot into the car but he broke his femur in November 2025 and had to be non-weight bearing for 3 months. He lost so much strength and ability that he could no longer do any kind of safe transfer.

Our friend found the IBIS wheelchair to car lift online and we decided to take the risk. It was worth every penny and more. Within a day of its arrival we were mobile and in and out of the car again.
