HUUM Protective Bedding for HIVE Flow LS Sauna Stoves, Large

The HUUM LS Protective Bedding, Large (part number H3016012) is a protective base for the HUUM HIVE Flow LS wood-burning sauna stove. It increases safety when the stove stands on a floor made of wood or another combustible material. The bedding is a heat-resistant plate on six adjustable feet, and the Large size measures 550 x 680 mm (21.6 x 26.7 in) with a maximum load of 300 kg (661 lb). HUUM also recommends it when water underfloor heating pipes run beneath the stove, because it protects both the floor and the piping. The stove, stones, and other accessories are sold separately. Includes an installation manual.

Protection for the floor and the pipes under it

The protective bedding gives the HIVE Flow LS its own plate and feet to stand on, so there is a protected base under the stove when the floor is wood or another combustible material. If your sauna has water-based underfloor heating, HUUM recommends the bedding, because it protects the floor and the heating pipes under the stove. It does not replace the stove's required floor protection and clearances, so always follow the stove's manual and local code.

Check the size before you order

This Large bedding is made for the full-size HUUM HIVE Flow LS stove. HUUM also makes a smaller bedding, 500 x 630 mm, for the HIVE Flow Mini LS, which is a separate product, so match the size to your stove. If you plan a through-wall installation with a HUUM mounting collar, note that raising the stove on the bedding changes the wall opening, so cut the opening for your actual configuration according to the collar's manual. Please check with us if you are not sure which size or accessories your stove needs.

Installing the bedding

According to HUUM's installation manual: remove the protective film from the plate. Install the six feet and nuts. Put the bedding in position under the stove, and level it so that every foot bears on the floor. Then tighten each nut against the underside of the plate, because HUUM says the nut must be screwed against the bottom of the plate to ensure the load capacity. Installation of the stove itself must follow its own manual and local code.

Why the HUUM LS Protective Bedding stands out

Safer on combustible floors

The bedding adds safety when the stove stands on a wooden floor or another combustible material.

Protects underfloor heating

HUUM recommends it over water underfloor heating, because the plate protects both the floor and the piping below the stove.

Adjustable feet

Six feet with nuts let you level the plate so that every foot bears on the floor, and the nuts lock against the plate.

300 kg load rating

The bedding carries a maximum load of 300 kg (661 lb) when it is installed as HUUM's manual describes.

Made for the HIVE Flow LS

The Large size, 550 x 680 mm (21.6 x 26.7 in), is designed to fit the full-size HIVE Flow LS stove.

Clear installation steps

HUUM's manual covers the film, feet, levelling, and nuts step by step. We are an authorized HUUM dealer.

IBIS Wheelchair to Car Lift

The IBIS wheelchair to car lift was a game changer for us. My husband has been in a wheelchair for more than 40 years and we have never seen anything like this in the US and had no idea such a lift exist existed.

My guy is hemiplegic and usually able to stand pivot into the car but he broke his femur in November 2025 and had to be non-weight bearing for 3 months. He lost so much strength and ability that he could no longer do any kind of safe transfer.

Our friend found the IBIS wheelchair to car lift online and we decided to take the risk. It was worth every penny and more. Within a day of its arrival we were mobile and in and out of the car again. It is very manageable for me to operate and in our 60’s we are grateful for anything that lightens our load.

Everything arrived as advertised. Customer service was outstanding with clear communication. I was provided help to ensure my measurements were correct and was offered a few options to customize the sling. We had to get a new car right after we bought the lift and it was a good fit in the new car.

We are very pleased and highly recommend this product.
