HUUM Embedding Flange for HIVE and HIVE Mini Series Sauna Heaters

The HUUM embedding flange is a stainless steel flange for the HUUM HIVE and HIVE Mini electric sauna heaters. It is used when the heater is installed partly inside the sauna bench or platform: the flange covers the rough, uneven wooden edges cut around the heater and gives the opening a smooth, finished look. It comes in two sizes. The Flange H (part number H3003022) is for the full-size HIVE (12, 15 and 18 kW), and its ring has a 57.5 cm (22.64 in) inside diameter and a 73.5 cm (28.94 in) outside diameter. The Flange HM (part number H3002022) is for the HIVE Mini, and its ring has a 46.5 cm (18.31 in) inside diameter and a 62.5 cm (24.61 in) outside diameter. Choose the size that matches your heater. The two sizes are not interchangeable, and neither is for the HIVE Flow wood-burning stoves. The heater, controller, and stones are sold separately. Includes an installation manual.

A finished edge for a HIVE or HIVE Mini built into the bench

The HIVE is a large, stone-filled heater, and the HIVE Mini is its slimmer version for smaller saunas. Building either one into a bench puts it at the center of the sauna, and cutting the bench to hold it leaves raw wooden edges around the opening. The flange sits around the heater at that opening and covers them, so the heater looks built in rather than dropped into a hole. The flange is stainless steel, in keeping with the heater itself. It is a stand-alone accessory: it does not change how the heater performs, and it does not replace the clearances in the heater's own manual. A heater that stands freely on the floor does not need one.

Check the size and plan the cutout before you order

Pick the Flange H for the full-size HIVE and the Flange HM for the HIVE Mini. For the full-size HIVE, plan the bench so that at least 350 mm (13.8 in) of the heater rises above the bench surface. According to HUUM's installation manual, the flange is assembled from arcs placed around the heater to form a complete ring, then fastened in place. The opening is 69.2 cm (27.2 in) in diameter for the full-size HIVE and 58.2 cm (22.9 in) for the HIVE Mini. For the HIVE Mini, check the manual for how much of the heater must stand above the bench surface. Read the manual before you cut the bench, and confirm the opening size against the current version. Installation of the heater itself must follow its own manual and local code.

IBIS Wheelchair to Car Lift

The IBIS wheelchair to car lift was a game changer for us. My husband has been in a wheelchair for more than 40 years and we have never seen anything like this in the US and had no idea such a lift exist existed.

My guy is hemiplegic and usually able to stand pivot into the car but he broke his femur in November 2025 and had to be non-weight bearing for 3 months. He lost so much strength and ability that he could no longer do any kind of safe transfer.
