HUUM Embedding Flange for DROP Series Sauna Heaters

The HUUM Flange D (part number H3001022) is a stainless steel embedding flange for HUUM DROP Series electric sauna heaters. It is used when the DROP is installed partly inside the sauna bench or platform: the flange covers the rough, uneven wooden edges cut around the heater and gives the opening a smooth, finished look. When the heater is embedded, at least 375 mm (14.8 in) of it must stick out above the bench surface. The flange is made for the DROP heater, in the 4.5, 6, 7.5 and 9 kW sizes. The heater, controller, and stones are sold separately. Includes the flange plates, 3 support brackets, 6 fastening screws, 6 nut and bolt sets, and an installation manual.

A finished edge for a DROP built into the bench

Cutting a bench to hold a heater leaves raw wooden edges around the opening. The Flange D sits around the DROP at that opening and covers them, so the heater looks built in rather than dropped into a hole. The flange is stainless steel, in keeping with the heater itself. It is a stand-alone accessory: it does not change how the heater performs, and it does not replace the clearances in the heater's own manual.

Check the fit and plan the cutout before you order

Plan the bench so that at least 375 mm (14.8 in) of the heater rises above the bench surface. HUUM's installation manual describes how to mark the cutout: place the flange plates where you want them with their end edges against the wall, mark the inner edge, then draw a second contour 52 mm (about 2 in) outward and cut along it. A 52 mm wooden block is suggested as a guide. The support brackets are attached to the plates with the bolts and nuts, and the brackets are then fastened to the platform boards with the screws. Read the manual before you cut the bench. Installation of the heater itself must follow its own manual and local code.

IBIS Wheelchair to Car Lift

The IBIS wheelchair to car lift was a game changer for us. My husband has been in a wheelchair for more than 40 years and we have never seen anything like this in the US and had no idea such a lift exist existed.

My guy is hemiplegic and usually able to stand pivot into the car but he broke his femur in November 2025 and had to be non-weight bearing for 3 months. He lost so much strength and ability that he could no longer do any kind of safe transfer.
