The PETRA hyperbaric chamber is built with a single priority: total visibility during hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Its ingenious retractable front acrylic panel (30 mm thickness) opens wide via a smooth pneumatic motor, creating a generous 600 mm accessway that welcomes users with mobility challenges. Three large panoramic windows connect the user to the outside world, eliminating any sense of confinement or claustrophobia. Inside the chamber, pure oxygen is delivered through the BIBS mask, regulated by the rhythm of your breath, while the ergonomic seat supports your body throughout the session. Built with medical-grade technology and precise pressure control, PETRA is your personal oasis of pure oxygen.
PETRA is designed to be operated with complete freedom. There is no fixed control panel - you manage the entire session wirelessly from a tablet or smartphone using an intuitive, user-friendly dashboard. Open and close the retractable door, set pressure, monitor live session data, and communicate with the patient, all from one interface. For clinical settings, a dedicated assistant tablet provides easy session setup and close monitoring, with a manual emergency release valve as a double-safety backup. PETRA brings together comfort, visibility, and smart wireless control into one thoughtfully engineered hyperbaric experience.
BIBS Mask
The Built-In Breathing System (BIBS) is regulated by the tempo of your breath. The BIBS regulator circulates oxygen effectively through the polyurethane hose while removing carbon dioxide, ensuring a safe and controlled therapy environment with always-pure oxygen breathing.
Continuous Flow of Oxygen
Unlike demand regulators, BIBS systems provide a constant flow of oxygen regardless of breathing patterns. This is beneficial for patients who struggle with deep breaths or have conditions affecting their respiratory muscles.
Reduced Risk of CO2 Buildup
The system constantly flushes the chamber with fresh oxygen, helping prevent the buildup of carbon dioxide, which can be harmful at high pressures.
Simplified Operation
BIBS systems require minimal interaction from the user, making them easier to use for patients with limited mobility or cognitive abilities.
Controlled Oxygen Concentration
The flow rate of oxygen can be precisely adjusted to deliver the desired concentration, even if the pressure inside the chamber fluctuates.
Wireless Command Center
Manage the entire HBOT session wirelessly from a tablet or smartphone. Open and close the retractable door, adjust pressure, monitor live session data, and communicate with the patient, all from one intuitive interface.
Retractable Acrylic Door
A pneumatic motor drives the retractable 30 mm acrylic front panel, creating a 600 mm wide accessway for smooth, easy entry - especially beneficial for users with mobility challenges.
Panoramic Windows
Three large windows connect the user to the outside world throughout the session, eliminating any sense of confinement or claustrophobia during hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Ergonomic Seating
Tailored to your body's physiology, the ergonomic seat reduces pressure point stress and boosts circulation, ensuring a relaxed and effective oxygen treatment session.
Automation System
The Automation System controls the chamber and runs sessions automatically. It consists of automation software, industrial PLC, sensors, valves, and PC. The PLC monitors and controls all connected devices, with specific functions dependent on customer configuration.
Real-Time Session Monitoring
Real-time session information is gathered from sensors and displayed to monitor session status. The monitoring systems track atmospheric pressure, oxygen concentration, temperature, humidity, patient vitals, and treatment duration.
Session Status Management
Automatic session control for speed, pressure, and time. Entry of new treatment profiles. Chamber ventilation. InterCom System for voice communication. Logging, reviewing, and printing tools. Session and patient information access. Real-time monitoring of temperature, humidity, pressure, and oxygen. Audio/visual warnings to the operator. Ear opening assistance. Session recording.
Power On Switch
The switch turns on the electrical equipment, activating the control panels for manual and/or automatic HBOT sessions.
Emergency Stop Button
Terminates the session in the pressure room if needed, and quickly drops chamber pressure to a safe level for immediate patient safety.
Emergency Decompression Valve
In case of emergency, the pressure chamber is relieved by rotating the manual spherical valve from inside or outside the chamber, providing a physical backup to the software controls.
USB Port
The USB 3.0 port allows software updates, uploading custom settings, or downloading the session archive for record-keeping and review.
Patient Monitoring
Chamber penetrations and electrical connectors provide the capability to connect vital monitoring equipment such as EEG, ECG, TCOM, and blood pressure devices.
Entertainment System
The chamber can be equipped with a large-screen TV or tablets for the user, along with other customizable additions to improve the in-chamber experience.
LED Lights
Adjustable LED RGB lighting allows you to create a serene and personalized atmosphere inside the chamber during each session.
Ventilation
The automatic ventilation system ensures the air inside the chamber is always fresh throughout the duration of every session.
Pneumatic Controls
Chamber controls are completely pneumatic in nature and require only a compressed gas source, keeping operation clean and reliable.
Discrete Power Source
A discrete power source allows continued operation of chamber communications in the event of a power outage, maintaining safety and connectivity at all times.
