Harvia Embedding Flange with LED Lighting for Cilindro Half Sauna Heaters

The Harvia stainless steel embedding flange with LED lighting is used to embed a Harvia Cilindro Half electric sauna heater into a sauna bench. The flange shields the bench from the heater's heat radiation, so the hole in the bench only has to be slightly larger than the heater, and the installation looks unified. LED lights at the bottom of the flange shine upward and light the stones, which brings out their fractured surfaces. It comes in two models: HPCU2LUL for the Cilindro Half 6 kW and 8 kW heaters, and HPCU7LUL for the Cilindro Half 11 kW heater, which Harvia lists as the 10.5 kW PC110E. Choose your model from the options menu. The heater, bench materials and stones are sold separately.

A bench opening that lights the stones

The Cilindro is a stone pillar with an open grate casing, so the stones are part of the look. The LED flange sits around the heater at the bench opening and lights the stones from below. The stainless steel keeps the radiant heat away from the bench around the heater. It is a stand-alone accessory: it does not change how the heater performs, and it does not replace the clearances in the heater's own manual.

Choosing your model

HPCU2LUL is listed for the Harvia Cilindro Half Series 6 kW and 8 kW heaters. It is 19.7 in (500 mm) wide and 2 in (50 mm) deep. HPCU7LUL is for the Cilindro Half 11 kW (10.5 kW PC110E, model HPCS11U1H) and measures 17.72 x 17.72 in (450 x 450 mm) and 5.91 in (150 mm) high. Harvia sells other flanges for the other Cilindro models, so please check with us if you are not sure which one suits your heater.

Plan the lighting and installation before you order

For the HPCU2LUL, Harvia's description mentions a splash-proof digital touch control panel that can be placed in the sauna, shower room or dry room. The sources do not say whether the panel is supplied, and Harvia does not publish the LED's power or voltage, so ask us to confirm what you need before you order. For the HPCU7LUL, Harvia's instructions say the top of the flange should be no higher than 700 mm (27.5 in) above the floor, and the bench cut-out must be at least 10 mm (0.4 in) wider than the flange on all sides. Its LED driver takes 100-240 V AC single-phase input and outputs 12 V DC, and it should be mounted no higher than 500 mm (20 in) above the floor. Only a licensed electrician may connect the lighting. Read the installation instructions before you cut the bench, and follow the heater's manual and local code.

IBIS Wheelchair to Car Lift

The IBIS wheelchair to car lift was a game changer for us. My husband has been in a wheelchair for more than 40 years and we have never seen anything like this in the US and had no idea such a lift exist existed.
