The Harvia Fenix WiFi Remote Control (FX001XW) is the next-generation WiFi control panel for Harvia Fenix and Xenio control systems. It replaces the CX004WIFI Xenio WiFi panel with a 4.3" glass touchscreen, MyHarvia 2 app connectivity, 3 customizable presets, and a smart timer that learns the heating curve of the connected sauna heater. Like the CX004WIFI it supersedes, the FX001XW is a panel only - it does not include a control unit and does not operate without a compatible Harvia Fenix or Xenio control unit. The panel is plug-and-play compatible with existing Xenio installations: it connects to the same data cable as the original Xenio panel with no rewiring required. A built-in setup wizard guides the configuration process from the panel itself.

4.3" glass touchscreen - the step up from the Xenio WiFi panel

The CX004WIFI Xenio WiFi panel uses illuminated physical buttons and a small digital display. The Fenix WiFi FX001XW replaces this with a 4.3" glossy glass touchscreen - the same physical glass display format as the full Fenix control system panels. The touchscreen provides a more modern and intuitive interface for temperature adjustment, session timing, lighting and ventilation control, and preset selection than the button-based Xenio panel. The setup wizard walks through WiFi configuration and pairing to the MyHarvia app directly on the 4.3" screen, making first-time setup simpler than the CX004WIFI's button-driven configuration process.

Smart timer and 3 customizable presets - beyond basic scheduling

The Fenix WiFi adds capabilities not present in the CX004WIFI. The smart timer learns the heating behavior of the connected sauna heater - how long it takes to reach different target temperatures from cold - and uses this learned data to calculate the latest possible start time for the sauna to be ready at the desired moment. Rather than starting the preheat a fixed time in advance and potentially having the sauna overheat and wait, the smart timer starts the preheat at the right time for the specific heater and room combination. Three predefined presets allow one-tap session starts for the most frequently used configurations - temperature, time, and other settings saved and recalled from the panel or the MyHarvia app. Additional favorites can be created beyond the three presets.

Plug-and-play for existing Xenio systems - no rewiring required

The FX001XW is fully retrofittable with existing Xenio control systems (CX30, CX45, CX30C, CX170 series). The Fenix WiFi panel connects to the same data cable as the original Xenio panel - the physical connector and data protocol are compatible. Replacing an existing Xenio non-WiFi or WiFi panel with the FX001XW requires disconnecting the old panel from the data cable and connecting the FX001XW in its place. No changes to the power unit, heater wiring, or sensor connections are required. The Control Compatibility Specs document below lists the compatible Fenix and Xenio control unit model numbers and serial number ranges.

Compared to fixed delay scheduling, the smart timer adapts to the specific heater and room combination for a more efficient preheat cycle.

3 presets plus favorites

Three saved presets allow the most frequently used session configurations - temperature, time, and other parameters - to be started with a single tap from the panel or the MyHarvia 2 app. Additional favorites can be saved beyond the three standard preset slots. For regular sauna users with fixed session preferences, preset access eliminates repeated manual configuration at the start of each session.

MyHarvia 2 - next-generation app

The FX001XW connects to MyHarvia 2, Harvia's updated app generation with improved interface, smart timer integration, and preset management. All the remote control functions of the original MyHarvia app are present - remote on/off, temperature, lighting, ventilation, timed start, week timer - alongside the new smart timer and preset features introduced with the Fenix system.

Humidity control for Combi heaters

When connected to a compatible Combi control unit (CX30C series), the FX001XW enables humidity adjustment through the MyHarvia 2 app - the same Combi humidity control available through the CX004WIFI, now through the more capable Fenix touchscreen interface and MyHarvia 2 app experience.

Warranty

1-year limited warranty

The Harvia Fenix WiFi Remote Control FX001XW is covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials under normal use conditions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, use with a non-compatible control unit, or failure to follow the installation guidelines in the IOM. A compatible Harvia Fenix or Xenio control unit is required for operation. Proof of purchase from an authorized Harvia dealer is required for warranty claims. We are an authorized Harvia dealer.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Restock fees will be deducted in amounts ranging from 15% to 25% of the value of the item being returned. The minimum restock fee on lower-value orders will be $15.
