Finnmark FD-7 4-Person Thermo-Aspen Outdoor Infrared & Traditional Barrel Sauna
The Finnmark FD-7 is a 4-person outdoor barrel sauna built from thermally modified European Thermo-Aspen, with clear grade Western Canadian Cedar benches. Five UL-listed Spectrum Plus™ infrared heaters bring the cabin up to 170°F on a standard 120V outlet, and the barrel is ready for an optional 4.5 kW traditional rock heater (sold separately) that takes it up to 185°F with steam. Two-tier cedar benches, a Wi-Fi touchscreen controller, Bluetooth audio, and under-bench RGB lighting come standard.
Thermo-Aspen barrel, built for outdoors
The 1.5" staves, inside and out, are European Thermo-Aspen, thermally modified with heat and steam and no chemicals. The frame, two-tier benches, and backrest are clear grade Western Canadian Cedar. Three stainless steel bands hold the barrel together, and it sits on three stained and sealed Shou Sugi Ban supports. A shingled roof over an insulating layer and rain barrier covers the top, 8mm tempered glass with rubber gaskets and weather seals is used for the door and windows, and an outdoor power unit cover is included. Ventilation is through a disc-type vent.
Infrared heat with room for a rock heater
Five Spectrum Plus™ dual-wave heaters, 350W each (1,750W total), are UL-listed Incoloy elements that produce mid and far infrared with 0.99 emissivity and a rated life of about 40,000 hours. On infrared alone the barrel reaches 170°F, and the infrared side plugs into a standard 120V / 15A outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug and a 9 ft cord. For traditional steam sessions, add a Harvia KIP 4.5 kW rock heater package with stones, available in knob-control and digital Wi-Fi versions and rated for 100 to 210 cubic feet. The rock heater needs its own dedicated 240V hardwired circuit (240V / 1PH / 18.8A, typically a 30A breaker with 10AWG wire, not included), installed by a licensed electrician.
Smart controls, lighting, and low EMF
The Wi-Fi Controller 2.0 with a 5" LCD touchscreen lets you run the sauna from your phone through the Smart Life app, with Bluetooth audio built in. Under-bench RGB LED lighting adds ambient mood light. Inside, an upper and a lower cedar bench give four people room to sit, with a three-bar cedar backrest; a full-cover ergonomic backrest is available as an optional upgrade. The cabin is ETL certified, the Spectrum Plus™ heaters are UL listed, and EMF levels are very low (under 1.17 mG), tested by NTS.

About Finnmark Designs
Built for the backyard, backed by documentation
The FD-7 ships as a kit that is built on site, and Finnmark says assembly takes 30 to 45 minutes. The metal bands, clamps, shingles, roof barrier, and hardware are all included. The infrared side plugs into a standard 120V outlet, while an optional rock heater is hardwired on its own 240V circuit by a licensed electrician.
From the third-party EMF test log to the ETL certificate, Finnmark publishes the documents behind its claims so you can review them before you buy.

Warranty basics
The Finnmark FD-7 comes with a 10-year Finnmark Designs sauna warranty, plus an unconditional lifetime warranty on the Spectrum Plus™ Incoloy heaters. A traditional rock heater bought separately is covered by its own manufacturer's warranty.
Coverage conditions
Coverage applies to residential use, with the sauna installed and maintained as instructed.
