It is the colour of Finnish forest timber, of a cabin discovered in a pine clearing, of wood that has been carefully chosen and treated but never painted or stained away from what it naturally is. Against that unified warmth, the full-width double-glazed argon-insulated panoramic window opens the front face to the surrounding landscape and floods the interior with unfiltered natural light.
Unified pine throughout - one material, one coherent atmosphere
Every other outdoor sauna in the ThermaSol range uses at least two or three different materials in combination - dark spruce with aspen, Tyrol panels with aspen benches, IPE Lapacho with Tyrol and Hemlock. The Nordic Dawn is the exception: thermally modified pine from the outside cladding all the way through to the bench surface creates an interior atmosphere that reads as completely coherent, warm, and uncomplicated. You step inside and you are surrounded by pine on every surface - the same material that the forest outside is made of, transformed by thermal modification into something more stable and durable than untreated wood without losing the natural grain, the warm tone, or the light fragrance of Nordic pine. The exterior cladding can be left in its natural state - it will age gracefully to a beautiful silvered grey over time - or it can be painted or treated with sauna-safe wax or oil to preserve the original golden-brown colour.

The Nordic Dawn's front face is dominated by a full-width double-glazed panoramic window that runs nearly the entire height of the front wall and the full width of the cabin. Unlike the single-pane or thinner glass used in many outdoor saunas, the double-glazed argon-filled window provides meaningful thermal insulation through the glass layer itself - the argon gas between the two panes reduces heat transfer significantly compared to air-filled double glazing, meaning less heat escapes through the front face of the cabin during sessions and less cold enters. The result is a more efficient sauna that reaches temperature faster and holds it more consistently, while maintaining the full unobstructed panoramic view that makes the session feel connected to the outdoor environment rather than sealed away from it.
Outward-opening door, roller latch, and external padlock - Finnish safety standards
The Nordic Dawn's glass door opens outward - a design requirement under Finnish sauna safety regulations, which specify that sauna doors must not be lockable from inside and must open outward to allow easy exit in any condition. The door uses a sturdy non-locking roller latch that ensures it opens and closes smoothly and remains securely shut without creating an interior lock. An external padlock is provided for securing the cabin when not in use. Kirami designs and manufactures the Nordic Dawn to a standard that meets Finnish regulatory requirements for outdoor sauna construction - including the outward-opening door requirement that may be unfamiliar to buyers accustomed to North American sauna designs. These requirements exist because they make the sauna safer: an outward-opening door cannot be blocked from outside, and a non-locking latch means the door cannot be accidentally locked with a bather inside. The external padlock secures the cabin when unoccupied. These details reflect decades of Finnish sauna culture and regulatory refinement, and they are all present in the Nordic Dawn because the product is not adapted from Finnish standards - it is built to them.
The Nordic Dawn arrives via flatbed trailer fully assembled. ThermaSol notifies customers two weeks before the scheduled delivery date. A forklift or crane is required for off-loading at 2,646 lbs. The foundation must be firm and level with slight runoff for drainage. A licensed electrician must connect the Harvia Spirit 9kW heater before first use. After delivery, the exterior cladding can be treated immediately or left to develop its natural patina.

Warranty
1-year ThermaSol warranty
The ThermaSol Nordic Dawn Sauna Cabin is covered by ThermaSol's 1-year limited warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for one year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. ThermaSol will, at its discretion, repair or replace any covered defective component at no cost. The warranty does not cover naturally occurring characteristics of pine wood (grain variation, moderate colour change, normal movement with humidity), damage from improper installation, misuse, inadequate foundation or drainage, or failure to follow installation guidelines. The choice to paint or treat the exterior cladding does not void the warranty provided sauna-appropriate products are used. The Harvia Spirit heater is covered under Harvia's separate manufacturer warranty. Proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is required. We are an authorized ThermaSol dealer.
