Every barrel sauna in the standard Ergo Series the E6, E7, E8, and all their G and W variants shares the same 81-inch diameter. The EE6G starts at 91 inches. That ten-inch difference changes everything about what is possible inside: a 7'3" interior diameter that lets every bather stand fully upright with genuine clearance, a bench arc so gentle that back-wall seating becomes possible, a flat floor kit that eliminates the curved bottom entirely, and 20.5-inch-deep benches that run the full length of the back wall with a lower footrest rail keeping your feet elevated above the cooler floor air. This is not a larger version of a standard barrel. It is a rethinking of what a barrel sauna can be.
The 91-inch diameter changes what the inside feels like
In a standard 81-inch barrel, you are aware of the curve in the bench, in the ceiling, in the way the walls close in slightly above your shoulders. In the EE6G, that awareness disappears. The 91-inch diameter creates a genuinely spacious interior that does not feel like a barrel from the inside. The ceiling rises to 7'3", which means standing is fully comfortable and walking in through the 8mm glass door feels like stepping into a room, not ducking into a tube. The arc is wide enough for the benches to run straight across the back wall rather than following the curve, which is precisely what makes proper elevated seating possible. Lie down. Stretch out. The lower bench runs the full width of the barrel and is close to the size of a twin mattress in length.
8mm full tempered glass front a genuine step up
The standard Ergo G-series barrels use 5/16-inch (approximately 8mm) tempered bronze glass sidelight panels flanking a glass door an excellent setup that creates a dramatic glass front wall. The EE6G goes further: the entire front face is a single continuous 8mm tempered glass wall, including the door, engineered as a unified glass facade rather than panels fitted around a frame. It is thicker, more seamless in appearance, and more visually striking as an object in a backyard. The natural light it lets in at any hour of the day is exceptional. At night with the LED system running, it is something people stop and look at.
Elevated seating: the way Scandinavians actually sauna
In traditional Finnish sauna design, the upper bench is the premium position closer to the heat source, higher in the steam, where löyly is felt most intensely. Standard barrel saunas cannot achieve this properly because the curved floor pushes the heater up as the benches rise, negating the benefit. The EE6G's flat floor and 91-inch diameter solve the problem: the heater sits at floor level in its correct low position, while the back-wall benches rise to an elevated platform with a lower footrest rail beneath. Pour water on the heater stones. Feel the steam rise. Your feet are off the cold floor. Your back is against the arched Thermo-Aspen backrest. This is what the EE6G is designed around, and no standard-diameter barrel can replicate it.
The Ergo Elegance Series is a different category entirely. A 91-inch diameter that dwarfs the standard Ergo barrels. An 8mm full tempered glass front wall not sidelights, not a porthole. Back-wall bench seating with a lower footrest that elevates your body above the cold floor, the way traditional Finnish sauna seating is actually meant to work. And a flat floor kit included from the start. The EE6G is what happens when SaunaLife rethinks the barrel sauna from the ground up.

91" diameter 7'3" interior
Ten inches wider than the standard Ergo barrel. True standing height for every bather, a ceiling that doesn't press down, and enough arc to run straight back-wall benches instead of curved side seating.
8mm full glass front wall
A single continuous 8mm tempered glass facade thicker and more seamless than the sidelight panels in the standard G-series. Natural light from the first moment to the last, in any weather.
Elevated back-wall seating
Back-wall benches rise to a proper elevated position with a lower footrest rail. Your feet stay above the cool floor air. Heater stays low. Löyly rises to where you are sitting. This is traditional Finnish sauna logic applied correctly.
Flat floor kit included
No curved barrel bottom underfoot. The flat Thermo-Spruce floor kit creates a stable, level walking surface that makes entry, exit, and movement inside the EE6G feel like a room not a barrel.
20.5" deep Thermo-Aspen benches
The deepest bench seating in the SaunaLife lineup enough to sit fully back against the arched lumbar backrest with room to spare, or stretch out and lie down along the back wall.
1.65" Thermo-Spruce staves
Industry-leading wall thickness from thermally treated Nordic Spruce. Outlasts cedar 2:1 outdoors chemical-free, dimensionally stable, zero staining, sealing, or repainting required. Ever.
