The SaunaLife Model G3 is unlike any other outdoor sauna in the Garden Series or on the market. Where the GL4 and GL6 are defined by their angular, architectural lines, the G3 takes its cues from a different tradition: the distinctive parabolic arched roof that curves from eave to eave, creating a pod-like silhouette that turns heads from every angle of the yard. It is charming, unmistakably Scandinavian, and exceptionally well-engineered for a cabin that looks this good. Inside, there is room for four people, a terrace with benches on both sides, and every material detail that makes a SaunaLife sauna worth owning.
The parabolic arched roof more than a visual statement
The G3's signature curved roof is not purely aesthetic. The parabolic arch shape naturally sheds rain and snow more efficiently than a flat or gabled roof, redirecting water away from the structure in all directions. It creates a taller interior volume at the peak, improving natural heat circulation and making the cabin feel more spacious than its footprint suggests. The full-height black shingle kit included in the kit covers the arch and provides the same weather protection you would expect from a house roof, not an outdoor sauna. Below the arch, the solid Thermo-Pine exterior staves at 1.65" thick form the cabin walls, handling decades of outdoor exposure without warping, splitting, or requiring treatment.
A front terrace designed for how sauna actually works
The G3's recessed front porch terrace is built with benches on both sides not just a step or a landing, but a proper outdoor cooling area where you can sit between sessions, socialise, and let your body come down from the heat. For those who choose a wood-fired stove, the terrace roof keeps a small supply of firewood dry and within arm's reach. This kind of thoughtful integration is what separates a sauna that becomes a ritual from one that simply gets used occasionally. The bronze-tinted 8mm tempered glass door sits at the centre of the front face, flooding the interior with natural light while maintaining privacy from outside.
1.65" Thermo-Pine staves and Thermo-Aspen benches
The G3 exterior is built from full-length Thermo-Pine staves at 1.65" thick a wall dimension that gives the cabin exceptional thermal mass and structural rigidity. Thermo-Pine undergoes the same high-temperature heat modification process as Thermo-Spruce: the cellular structure changes permanently, making the wood denser, more dimensionally stable, and resistant to moisture, decay, and fungi without any chemical treatment. Inside, the 1.1" Thermo-Aspen benches and matching backrests are knot-free and stay cool to the touch even at peak sauna temperatures. Gravity-based ventilation with intake beneath the heater and exhaust at the upper corner keeps air moving throughout every session.
LED lighting, Wi-Fi control, and assembly in a day
The G3 includes SaunaLife's dotless LED lighting system dimmable indirect white light that highlights the natural beauty of the wood without any harsh overhead brightness. It is controllable via Wi-Fi app or the included IP20 handheld remote with wall-mount cradle. LED and wire connections are IP67 rated for heat and moisture. The complete kit staves, benches, backrests, shingle roof, glass door, fascia boards, cradles, vents, fasteners, paraffin oil, and installation instructions ships on a single pallet. Two people with moderate DIY experience can complete the full assembly in approximately one day.

Why the G3 stands out
Parabolic arched roof
The G3's defining feature: a curved roof that sheds weather in all directions, creates a taller interior volume for better heat circulation, and makes this sauna instantly recognisable in any yard.
1.65" Thermo-Pine staves
Full-length, heat-modified Nordic pine at 1.65" thick permanently resistant to moisture, decay, and fungi without chemicals. The same durability as Thermo-Spruce in a warmer, more rustic tone.
Full black shingle roof kit
A complete asphalt shingle kit the same approach used on residential roofs is included and covers the parabolic arch. Proper drainage, proper protection, built to last decades outdoors.
Terrace with benches both sides
A recessed front terrace with seating on each side is built into the structure. A proper place to sit between rounds, cool down in fresh air, and socialise not just a step at the door.
Thermo-Aspen benches
1.1" thick, knot-free Thermo-Aspen bench tops and backrests stay cool at peak heat. Smooth satin finish and ergonomic design for sessions that last as long as you want them to.
Assembles in 1 day
All staves, benches, shingle kit, glass door, fascia, cradles, vents, and fasteners ship together. Two people with moderate DIY experience complete the full G3 in approximately one day.
