The Aurora 2-4 person barrel sauna provides room for up to 4 people or you can use the additional bench space to stretch your legs. This 5' deep x 6' wide traditional barrel sauna provides the perfect retreat for your backyard.
The Aurora is equipped with a Harvia 6kW electric heater that will reach maximum temperatures of 170-180 degrees Fahrenheit and comes with a built in delay timer allowing you to set the start time up to 8 hours ahead of time so the sauna is ready when you are. The Aurora traditional barrel sauna includes a built-in floor kit and shingled roof for extreme climates. The accessory kit also includes a thermohydrometer, water bucket with ladle, sand timer, and stones for the heater.
Dome interior lighting provides the perfect ambience and does not require an additional electrical circuit. Solid red cedar ball and socket construction with stainless steel hardware complete this well equipped 2-4 person sauna.

Infrared heaters in the sauna emit FAR Infrared heat which is a narrow band of energyĀ within the 5.6 to 15 micron level. This type of energy closely resembles the natural humanĀ spectrum so itās easily absorbed by the body tissue. DoĀ SunRayĀ SaunasĀ emitĀ EMF?
SunRay, unlike many manufacturers, does not use wires to conduct FAR Infrared heat,Ā rather we apply the perfect thickness of ultra-conductive carbon to an epoxy resin panel activated by positive and negative copper strips on either side. The epoxy resin panel is then laminated which results in ultra low EMF levels safe for continuous use.
HowĀ isĀ theĀ saunaĀ packaged?
SunRay Saunas contain wooden panels that are pre-packaged in cardboard boxes and then placed on a wooden pallet to ensure the sauna arrives without damage. The cardboardĀ boxes can be removed from the pallet and will fit through any door size 24ā or greater.
DoesĀ theĀ saunaĀ comeĀ pre-assembled?
SunRay Saunas are not pre-assembled. They arrive in panels which are secured together with screws and metal latches. Assembly takes approximately one hour.
No, the only tool you need to assemble the sauna is a Phillips head screwdriver or drill with a Phillips head bit.
WhatĀ voltageĀ doesĀ theĀ unitĀ runĀ on?
All SunRay infrared saunas use UL listed plugs and operate on 110V. Some larger indoor and outdoor saunas require a non-standard 20 amp plug. Traditional saunas operate on a 220V dedicated circuit.
CanĀ IĀ useĀ theĀ saunaĀ outdoors?
All SunRay Saunas except the outdoor models must be used indoors. They are not suitable for outdoor use.
HowĀ doĀ IĀ cleanĀ theĀ sauna?
First, unplug the sauna and make sure it is cool before cleaning. To clean the wooden interior of your sauna mix 3 teaspoons of baking soda into a gallon of warm water. Use aĀ towel to wipe down the interior with the baking soda and water mixture. Then wipe theĀ sauna down with a wet towel and let dry. The glass in your sauna can be cleaned with glassĀ cleaner. If you have an outdoor sauna, use a standard garden hose on a low/mist setting to wash out the interior. Make sure to leave the door open so the sauna can dry.
HowĀ oftenĀ doĀ IĀ needĀ toĀ cleanĀ theĀ sauna?
The sauna should be cleaned every 6 months or at your discretion if you are using it regularly. Using a towel to sit on while in the sauna will capture a lot of the sweat and thereby reduce the frequency of cleaning the sauna.
