The Value-Flex is Flexabed's most affordable adjustable bed. An entry-level adjustable bed perfect for those living on a restricted income who still want the genuine Flexabed build standard.

Mattress options
The Value-Flex ships standard with a Premier innerspring mattress (the only mattress option available for this model). The other Flexabed mattress styles below (Low Profile, Innerspring/Memory Foam Combo, Memory Foam, Gel Memory Foam, Latex) are only available for the Hi-Low and Premier Flexabed models. If long-term care or pressure redistribution comfort matters, consider stepping up to the Hi-Low or Premier line.

If you will be spending many hours a day in bed, you may require a mattress designed better for pressure redistribution comfort, ideal for long-term care patients and the elderly. The mattresses below are only available for the Hi-Low and Premier Flexabed models, not the Value-Flex:
The low profile mattress
Reduces the overall height of the bed by 4 inches, making it easier for people with limited mobility to get in and out of bed. Also great for those who prefer a minimalist style.
The innerspring / memory foam combo mattress
Combines the support of innersprings with the comfort of memory foam. Great for side and back sleepers, combination sleepers, and hot-natured sleepers, but not ideal for those who prefer a softer mattress.
The memory foam mattress
Cradles every curve of your body while providing support for joints and pressure points. Great for side, back, and stomach sleepers under 230 pounds. May not be the best option for hot-natured sleepers or those who need to move around easily.
The gel memory foam mattress
Creates a cooler sleeping surface, perfect for hot-natured sleepers and side sleepers, but may not be the best option for cold-natured sleepers.
The natural latex foam mattress
Provides a soft feel and dynamic support for proper alignment. Great for those who prefer a firm mattress, have joint pain, or are light sleepers, but may not be the best option for hot-natured sleepers or those who prefer a softer mattress.

Okin SmartBed app (optional)
The optional Okin SmartBed app, with Bluetooth connectivity, lets you adjust your Flexabed directly from your smartphone. Skip the traditional remote and control your bed from your iPhone or Android device with three primary control screens:
Position
Adjust head, foot, and height to find the perfect angle. Save favorite positions for instant recall.
Massage
Control the optional dual massage system directly from the app, customize intensity, pattern, and duration.
Alarm
Set wake-up alarms that gently raise the bed or activate the massage, no jarring noise required.
How to pair your phone
- Download the Okin SmartBed app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the app and create your Okin account.
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone in device settings.
- Navigate to the "Position" screen, tap the three horizontal bars in the upper left corner.
- Select "Bluetooth" at the bottom of the screen.
- Find "SmartBed" in the device list and tap to pair.
- If "SmartBed" doesn't appear, return to the Position screen and retry.

Flexabed isn't a production-line product. You specify size, length, mattress type, options, and finish, the bed is then built to that specification in Lafayette and shipped direct. The build standard does not change with the option list, every base, every motor, and every mattress receives the same care whether you order the simplest configuration or the most loaded one.

Warranty
Flexabed Limited Lifetime Warranty (transferable)
Because Flexabed builds every bed by hand, the entire bed is covered, every component, every design feature, including the mattress. The warranty is transferable to subsequent owners, so if you sell or give the bed away, it remains under warranty.
Motors & lifting mechanism
During the first 12 months after purchase, Flexabed provides in-home parts and labor at no charge (parts shipped UPS ground, expedited charges paid by customer). After the first year, any part can be sent to the factory (freight prepaid by customer) for repair, reconditioning, or replacement at the factory's option for a $100 fee plus return shipping.
Mattress & upholstered base
During the first 12 months, in-home repairs or replacement (at factory's option) are provided at no charge for genuine defects in materials or workmanship beyond normal wear. After the first year, the mattress or upholstered base can be sent to the factory (freight prepaid by customer) for repair, reconditioning, or replacement at factory's option for a $100 fee, returned freight collect. Mattresses showing signs of abuse or wetting void the warranty.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover customer misuse, electrical surges, damage in transit or handling by the delivering agent (unless the customer signs the bill of lading with damages noted), or products altered or repaired by unauthorized representatives. Replacement parts are warranted for the unexpired balance of the original warranty period. Proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is required for any claim, and we are an authorized Flexabed dealer.

Do the mattresses come with warranties?

How loud are the motors?

What mattress materials are available?

Are side rails included?
Side rails are an optional accessory, not included by default. Add them at checkout or order separately.
Can the bed height be adjusted?
The Value-Flex bed height is 21" at the edge with casters, with the foundation base at 12". For full vertical height adjustability (Hi-Low function), consider upgrading to the Flexabed Hi-Low model.
Is the Flexabed returnable?
No, mattresses and bedframes are not returnable due to their hygienic nature, they cannot be resold once delivered.
