Optional Upgrades
DeVilbiss 10L O2 Concentrator
We recommend that an oxygen concentrator is used with Newtowne hyperbaric chambers. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) involves a pressurized chamber and the administration of pure oxygen. Although it is possible to operate the chamber without pure oxygen, the treatment's efficacy is diminished in such cases. To ensure optimal therapeutic benefits, we strongly recommend acquiring an oxygen concentrator. This device extracts and concentrates oxygen from the ambient air around you, eliminating the need for additional oxygen tanks. Obtaining an oxygen concentrator requires a prescription from a licensed medical professional, so please discuss this requirement with your treating physician or primary care provider before proceeding.
The 10-litre oxygen concentrator meets the highest patient requirements and standards. It is one of the smallest and lightest 10 litre oxygen concentrators on the market.
- Oxygen concentration up to 96% in the range of 2-10 l/min
- Integrated OSD sensor for continuous measurement of the oxygen concentration
- Visual and audible alarm in the event of low oxygen concentration, power failure, blocked oxygen outlet or device malfunction
- Front label with easy-to-understand icons and LED lights
- Additional oxygen outlet on the back of the device, which allows the use of all standard filling stations on the market when combined with an optional shelf
- Integrated handles and castors for optimum and easy manoeuvrability
- Digital hour counter in the front area
- Low weight (19 kg)
- Made in the USA
Additional Oxygen Kit - valve, masks, hose
Internal Gauge
Monitor pressure from inside the chamber for added control and comfort.

Warranty basics
Newtowne Hyperbarics warrants your product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 Years from the original date of purchase. If you discover a defect in a product covered by this warranty, we will repair at our option using new or refurbished components, or if repair is not possible, replace the item.
Coverage and exclusions
This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover loss or theft, damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper storage conditions, lightning, or natural disasters. The cost of shipping to and from the factory is the responsibility of the owner. Should the product(s) fail, your sole recourse shall be repair or replacement, as described in the preceding paragraph.
IMPORTANT: Use of unauthorized sealants, adhesives, solvents or unauthorized modification will void your warranty. This includes duct tape, super glue, any product with silicone, urethane adhesives, and similar products.
Replacement pricing
If a chamber is out of warranty the most expensive cost will be the zipper. We do not replace the zipper because it diminishes the integrity of the unit overall. Instead, we will provide a new shell and install your current valves into the new shell. The new shell will come with a new 2-year warranty. Any other minor repairs on an out of warranty chamber will cost you only the shipping to get to the factory, we will take care of the rest.

FAQ
How do I make the session more comfortable?
To make the hyperbaric experience more pleasant you should be as comfortable as possible. Take care of restroom needs, gather items for inside the chamber, and dress in comfortable clothing with no sharp items such as belt buckles or jewelry before entering the chamber for treatment. You may also want to put a lamp near the chamber for additional reading light.
What is ear squeeze and how do I relieve it?
Most people experience pressurization in their ears while the chamber is pressurizing and depressurizing. Do not wear ear plugs or hearing aids when compressing. You can use the following equalization procedures to relieve ear squeeze:
- Yawning
- Swallowing
- Rotating the jaw or chewing
- Valsalva technique: pinch off the nostrils and blow gently through your nasal cavity until the pressure is equalized.
- The rate of pressurization can be controlled using the air deflate valve. Open the valve slightly until your ears are comfortable, then close the valve to continue pressurizing.
DO NOT CONTINUE USAGE IF YOU EXPERIENCE PAIN OR ARE UNABLE TO CLEAR YOUR EARS. DEPRESSURIZE AND CALL US AT +1 251-292-1169.
What is lung squeeze?
Lung (thoracic) squeeze is easy to prevent if you do not hold your breath during compression and decompression. Breathe normally while inside the chamber. In the unlikely event of rapid decompression you must exhale.
Is carbon dioxide build-up a concern?
While inside the hyperbaric chamber the user is in an enclosed structure. Carbon dioxide exhaled while breathing is not a concern as long as the air compressor is running, and the air compressor must be running while the chamber is in use. In the event of a power failure, do not panic: there will be enough oxygen in the chamber to allow time for the chamber to decompress and to be opened normally.
How do I get the military and first responder discount?
The military option is discounted for first responders, law enforcement, veterans and their family members.
Proof of service is required for any military discount. Please send proof of service to support@mediriser.com.
What help is available for setup?
We understand that setting up new equipment can be challenging, so we provide several resources: detailed video training, personalized setup assistance over a video call, and a comprehensive operation manual. For those who prefer hands-on help, professional installation services are also available. Contact us for details and availability.
What is mild hyperbaric therapy?
Mild hyperbaric therapy refers to hyperbaric oxygen therapy at lower, safer pressures.
Will HBOT help my condition?
Whether HBOT will be beneficial for your personal circumstances is best discussed with your physician. To research the effects of HBOT on a particular condition or disease, you can search for "HBOT and [the condition]".
What is the difference between mild HBOT and the units found in hospitals?
While hard HBOT with 100% oxygen results in greater oxygen saturation in the tissues, many conditions respond well to mild HBOT. In some clinical trials there has been virtually no difference in clinical outcome between mild HBOT and hard HBOT. In addition, mild HBOT has no known safety risks with fire or oxygen toxicity, and it is substantially less expensive.
