FAQs
Can I do HBOT by myself or is it a 2 person job?
Yes — you can use this chamber completely alone. You do not need a second person to get inside and zip up. However, you must have full mobility to step in, lay down, and stand up again to exit independently.
Do I need a prescription for this chamber?
No prescription is required for the 28″ Oxy Air Soft Chamber. As with all hyperbaric chambers, we always advise you to consult your doctor before starting hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
What all do I need with this hyperbaric chamber?
This chamber comes with everything you need to get started — oxygen masks, nasal cannulas, headsets, walkie-talkie communication system, finger pulse oximeter, dehumidifier, negative ion unit, compressor, mattress, and metal frame. No additional major equipment is required from day one.
What pressure does this chamber operate at?
The standard operating pressure is 1.3 ATA (equivalent to 10 ft underwater). An optional 1.4 ATA upgrade is available for 33% more pressure, equivalent to 15 ft underwater — allowing increased oxygen density and shorter treatment times.
Is an oxygen concentrator included?
The oxygen concentrator is available as an optional add-on at $1,499. The chamber itself includes breathing masks, nasal cannulas, and headsets — which can be used with an oxygen concentrator of your choice. We recommend the Drive Medical 10 LPM FDA-approved unit for best results at 95% purity.
How durable is the soft chamber material?
Extremely durable. The chamber is made from double-sided 44 oz medical-grade TPU-coated PET polyester (Dacron) — the same material class used by NASA in space suits — sourced from Germany. With penta-welded seams and our patented 3-zipper system, units are designed to last 25 years or more.
How does the zipper system work?
Our proprietary 3-zipper system features a 2-layer zipper with a silicone-sealed center flap for complete anti-leak protection. The outer cover zips up for additional structural support. This design reduces stress on the zipper mechanism and provides many years of reliable, leak-free operation.

How do oxygen molecules penetrate deeper into tissues with HBOT?
Under increased pressure, oxygen molecules are compressed and dissolve directly into the blood plasma — similar to how CO₂ dissolves into a carbonated drink under pressure. This allows oxygen to reach areas with restricted circulation: crossing the blood-brain barrier, entering lymph nodes, cerebrospinal fluid, inflamed tissue, and the musculoskeletal system. Oxygen is the final electron acceptor in the Electron Transport Chain — where all ATP (the body's energy currency) is produced. By dramatically increasing oxygen delivery throughout the body, HBOT supports enhanced cellular repair, energy production, and healing across every tissue type.

Products must be returned in the original packaging and in a new and resellable condition. Refunds will be determined by incoming inspection and if not returned or packed properly, the refund may be denied. Shipping Fees are non-refundable. If the return of an item was caused by an error on our part or a manufacturer’s part, Oxygen Health Systems will cover the shipping fees. To return a product, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) that is located in the MY ACCOUNT section next to each order item that you want to return. The RMA form will include an exact return address and detailed instructions on how to return a product. Please allow 24 to 72 hours for processing your claim.

We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) have arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department, at support@mediriser.com or call 251-292-1169 as soon as possible to with speak with our customer service. Be sure to have your order number ready for faster processing and leave a detailed message if possible. Please do not attempt to use, open or handle the item, especially if it is broken glass! We will send you a replacement item and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective item once we have received your request. In some cases the item may not need to be returned. Product(s) must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier.
When a replacement item is requested to be shipped prior to the return of original merchandise, we may need to receive the original merchandise return, before we can ship the replacement. This is a case by case scenario and each defective, damage or incorrect product return process may be different.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Orders can not be cancelled once the order confirmation is received.
When you request a cancellation of an order or item it may take up to 72 hours to process your cancellation claim. This process may involve voiding orders in computer systems, removing items from backorder logs, having operations personnel pull items from production schedules and sometimes stopping orders at the shipping dock. Also note that sometimes products ship more quickly than expected, so we recommend that you do not purchase alternative products until receiving final confirmation of your cancellation.
REFUNDS & CREDITS
After we accept your return, you will be issued a refund via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order (Credit Card, ACH and Check).
