Merits Health Travel-Ease Folding Power Wheelchair (P101)

The Travel-Ease is a portable folding power chair built for users who want dependable mobility at home or on the go. Its foldable frame, generous ground clearance, long battery range and rear-wheel drive performance provide comfort, portability and confidence for everyday travel and independent living.

Designed for users who value portability without sacrificing performance, the Travel-Ease combines a foldable rear-wheel drive platform with exceptional ground clearance and long-range capability. Large drive wheels improve traction, while adjustable armrests, optional elevating leg rests and practical accessories enhance everyday comfort and convenience.

Effortless Folding Design

Similar to a manual wheelchair, the Travel-Ease folds in half, collapsing the seat and back to bring the wheels together. This folding mechanism makes it easy to load into your vehicle, and the heaviest single piece weighs just 86 lbs out of a 150 lbs total.

Long Battery Range

The chair carries two U1 batteries under the seat, providing up to 18 miles of driving on a full charge. The batteries can be removed for folding or charging, and the chair uses a 5A off-board charger.

Heavy-Duty Wheels for All Terrains

Large 12.5 in foam-filled drive wheels deliver dependable traction and a smooth ride across varied surfaces, while 8 in foam-filled front casters and 1.5 in rear anti-tippers keep the chair steady. With 4.5 in of ground clearance and a 10 degree incline rating, thresholds and uneven terrain are easy to handle.

Comfort at the Forefront

A sling seat is available in 18 in to 20 in widths with a 16 in depth and a 20 in seat-to-floor height. Height adjustable armrests and swing-away footrests make getting in and out of the seat simple, and elevating leg rests are available as an option.

Power Chair Warranty - Lifetime Limited

Merits Health Products, Inc. warrants the main frame against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime expectancy of this power chair (5 years).

One-year parts coverage

For one (1) year from the date of purchase, Merits will replace at their option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative in the material or workmanship: Electronic controllers, harnesses, chargers, motors. Labor charges incurred in the installation or repair of the above mentioned parts plus all freight charges are not included in the warranty.

Warranty exclusions

Tires, plastic or rubber parts, upholstery/armpads, painted surfaces, seating, bearings.

Remedies and costs

Merits Health Products, Inc. will repair or replace parts as required, provided that an authorization for such return has been acquired by an established dealer and that the part or parts in question are returned fully insured with freight prepaid to us within the prescribed period of warranty. Labor charges incurred in the installation or repair of the above mentioned parts plus all freight charges are not included in the warranty.

Not covered

Merits Health Products, Inc will not warranty any parts damaged by improper installation and/or repair on the part of the individual owner's neglect, accident or misuse, nor those parts altered or serviced by an agency not authorized by us.

All returns must have an RA (Return Authorization) number to be processed.
All items returned must be in new condition, in the original boxes and have the original packaging.
All accessories and chargers included in the box must be returned.
You will be charged a 20% restocking fee, and you will pay for the return freight.
You are eligible for a full refund if the return is because of an error by the manufacturer (Merits Healthcare).
If an order is canceled after the item has shipped the standard return policy applies with a 20% restocking fee. You should accept delivery of the item(s), obtain an RA number, and ship the item(s) back. You will pay for the return freight.

IBIS Wheelchair to Car Lift

The IBIS wheelchair to car lift was a game changer for us. My husband has been in a wheelchair for more than 40 years and we have never seen anything like this in the US and had no idea such a lift exist existed.

My guy is hemiplegic and usually able to stand pivot into the car but he broke his femur in November 2025 and had to be non-weight bearing for 3 months. He lost so much strength and ability that he could no longer do any kind of safe transfer.

Our friend found the IBIS wheelchair to car lift online and we decided to take the risk. It was worth every penny and more. Within a day of its arrival we were mobile and in and out of the car again. It is very manageable for me to operate and in our 60’s we are grateful for anything that lightens our load.

Everything arrived as advertised. Customer service was outstanding with clear communication. I was provided help to ensure my measurements were correct and was offered a few options to customize the sling. We had to get a new car right after we bought the lift and it was a good fit in the new car.
