The DROP 9 is the highest output in the series and covers the widest room range - 318 to 530 cubic feet. For dedicated home sauna rooms at the larger end of standard residential sauna sizes, two-bench sauna cabins, and smaller commercial installations where the DROP's wall-mounted water-droplet form is the design choice, the DROP 9 provides the output to heat the room effectively and maintain temperature through extended sessions. 50A vs 40A - the DROP 9 vs DROP 7.5 decision
The DROP 7.5 (248-389 cu ft, 40A / 8 AWG) and DROP 9 (318-530 cu ft, 50A / 8 AWG) overlap from 318-389 cu ft. Both use 8 AWG wire; the difference is the breaker amperage. For rooms from 318-389 cu ft with standard insulation, the DROP 7.5 is adequate on a 40A breaker. For rooms above 389 cu ft or rooms with cold surfaces in the overlap zone, the DROP 9 on a 50A breaker is the correct choice.

5-year limited warranty (elements excluded)
The HUUM DROP 9 is covered by HUUM's 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials under normal use conditions. Heating elements are excluded from the 5-year coverage and carry their own separate warranty period. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, incorrect stone placement, use of incorrect stone size, operating without the required stone load, or failure to follow HUUM's installation and stone placement guidelines.
