The CLIFF Mini brings the natural stone surface exterior and the minimal safety clearances of the CLIFF family to a wall-mounted format suited for the smallest sauna rooms. Like the full CLIFF series, the CLIFF Mini is covered in natural stone panels on its exterior surfaces, giving it the visual character of a Nordic cliff face rather than a conventional electric heater. The CLIFF Mini dimensions are 10.6"W x 6.3"D x 38.4"H - a tall, slim profile that mounts flush to the sauna wall on a bracket. The safety clearance from the side walls is 2" (6 cm), making it one of the most space-efficient wall-mounted sauna heaters available. For small sauna rooms from 106 to 177 cubic feet where floor space is at a premium and the CLIFF's natural stone aesthetic is desired, the CLIFF Mini delivers both.

Despite its compact wall-mounted format for the smallest room range in the HUUM lineup, the CLIFF Mini carries 132 lbs (4 boxes) of rounded olivine diabase stones - substantially more than most comparably sized wall-mounted electric sauna heaters at 4kW. The higher stone capacity for its size is the result of HUUM's optimized internal basket geometry, which maximizes stone volume within the slim CLIFF form factor. The removable internal basket ribs make loading 132 lbs of 1"-2" (3-5 cm) rounded olivine into the narrow basket practical and precise. As with all CLIFF models, the 1"-2" stone size is CLIFF-specific - do not use the 2"-4" stones from DROP, HIVE, or STEEL packages in the CLIFF Mini basket. The integrated internal air duct speeds up heating by approximately 25% and extends element life.
15A / 14 AWG - the lightest electrical requirement of any HUUM heater
The CLIFF Mini 4kW requires a 15A two-pole breaker and 14 AWG wire - lighter than every other HUUM heater including the STEEL Mini 3.5kW (20A / 12 AWG) and the DROP 4.5kW (30A / 10 AWG). The CLIFF Mini requires only 2" (6 cm) clearance from the side walls - among the smallest safety clearances of any wall-mounted sauna heater. In rooms from 106-177 cu ft where bench positions and structural constraints leave minimal wall space, the CLIFF Mini can be placed where most other heaters cannot. Reflector panels (sold separately) reduce clearances further for the tightest installations.
Removable ribs and 1"-2" stone specification
The removable internal basket ribs make loading 132 lbs of 1"-2" rounded olivine stones into the narrow CLIFF Mini basket practical. The prop blocks included in the package assist with rib removal and replacement. The 1"-2" stone size is CLIFF-specific and different from the 2"-4" stones used in DROP, HIVE, and STEEL heaters - never substitute stones from other packages in the CLIFF Mini.
UKU WiFi option - remote preheat for a compact sauna
A 106-177 cu ft sauna room at 4kW reaches bathing temperature in approximately 15-25 minutes. Upgrading to UKU WiFi adds HUUM app remote preheat and scheduling on iOS and Android - start the sauna from anywhere and arrive to a ready room. No extension box required. For regular sauna users, the WiFi option eliminates the need to plan the warm-up in advance for every session.

When to choose the CLIFF Mini vs the floor-standing CLIFF 6
The CLIFF Mini 4kW is wall-mounted for rooms from 106-177 cu ft on a 15A / 14 AWG circuit with 132 lbs of stones. The CLIFF 6kW is floor-standing for rooms from 177-318 cu ft on a 30A / 10 AWG circuit with 165 lbs of stones. For rooms below 177 cu ft, only the CLIFF Mini is appropriately sized in the CLIFF family. For rooms at exactly 177 cu ft, either could serve the room - the CLIFF Mini is wall-mounted with lighter electrical; the CLIFF 6 is floor-standing with more stone mass and more output. For rooms above 177 cu ft, the CLIFF 6, 9, or 11 are the floor-standing choices. The CLIFF Mini is the right choice specifically when the room is 177 cu ft or smaller, the 15A circuit is preferred or required, wall-mounted installation is wanted, and the CLIFF natural stone aesthetic is the design goal. The HUUM safety railing is strongly recommended for all CLIFF Mini installations - the heater surface reaches high temperatures and stones are at accessible height without a railing barrier.

Warranty
5-year limited warranty (elements excluded)
The HUUM CLIFF Mini 4STU Package is covered by HUUM's 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials under normal use conditions. Heating elements are excluded from the 5-year coverage and carry their own separate warranty period. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, use of incorrect stone type or size (2"-4" stones must not be used - 1"-2" stones required), operating the heater without the required stone load, or failure to follow HUUM's installation and operating guidelines. A licensed electrician is required for all electrical connections. Do not connect to a GFI/GFCI breaker. The HUUM safety railing is strongly recommended for all CLIFF Mini installations.
