CLIFF vs DROP vs HIVE - choosing the right HUUM
When the CLIFF is the right HUUM heater - and when it is not
The HUUM range covers three distinct floor-standing heater families for larger rooms. The DROP series (wall-mounted, 122 lbs stones) is the compact wall-mounted choice for rooms up to 460 cu ft. The HIVE and HIVE Mini series (floor-standing open beehive, 330-528 lbs stones) prioritise maximum stone mass for soft sustained steam. The CLIFF (floor-standing slender tower, natural stone surface, 165 lbs stones, minimal clearances) is the correct choice when two conditions apply: the room is between 354 and 566 cubic feet, and the sauna room layout makes minimal wall clearance a priority - either because bench positions leave limited space for a wider heater, or because the aesthetic calls for a natural stone element in the room rather than a metal cage or water-drop form. When space is not the constraint and maximum stone mass is the priority for the same room range, the HIVE Mini 9 or 10.5 would carry more stone in the same room. When the CLIFF's natural stone exterior and slender profile are the design priority, nothing else in the HUUM range competes with it.

Warranty
5-year limited warranty (elements excluded)
The HUUM CLIFF 11STU Package is covered by HUUM's 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials under normal use conditions. Heating elements are excluded from the 5-year coverage and carry their own separate warranty period. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, use of incorrect or non-approved stones (including wrong stone size), operating the heater without the required stone load, or failure to follow HUUM's installation and operating guidelines. A licensed electrician is required for all electrical connections. Do not connect to a GFI/GFCI breaker. Proof of purchase from an authorized HUUM dealer is required.
