The Harvia Fenix FX30-U1-U3-XC is the next-generation full control unit with built-in WiFi for Club, Spirit, Cilindro, and Virta series Harvia sauna heaters. It is the Fenix-generation successor to the Xenio CX30-U1-U3-XW - the same lower-capacity control tier (7kW at 240V/1PH, 10.5kW at 208V/3PH) now in the Fenix system with a 4.3" glass touchscreen, AI learning, MyHarvia 2 app, smart timer, and 3 customizable presets. Unlike the FX001XW panel (which is a panel-only upgrade for existing Xenio units), the FX30-U1-U3-XC is a complete control system: it includes the power unit, the Fenix 4.3" glass panel, data cable, and temperature sensor - everything needed to control a compatible heater from scratch. It is not compatible with Virta Combi heaters; the FX30C series is required for Combi installations.
FX30 vs CX30 - Fenix generation replaces Xenio with more intelligence
The CX30-U1-U3-XW Xenio control covered the same heater capacity range as the FX30 - 7kW at 240V and 10.5kW at 208V - with a button-based panel and MyHarvia app connectivity via built-in WiFi. The FX30-U1-U3-XC replaces this with a 4.3" glass touchscreen panel, AI-assisted learning that continuously adapts to the specific heater's heating curve, 3 configurable preset modes for one-tap session starts, a smart timer that calculates the correct preheat start time based on the learned curve, and OTA firmware updates over WiFi that keep the control current automatically. The physical power unit behind the panel handles the same heater load as the CX30, and the FX30 is expandable with the LTY45 power extension unit for installations that require higher output than the FX30 can manage directly.
AI learning and smart timer - the Fenix intelligence advantage
The FX30's AI learning tracks the heating behavior of the connected sauna heater over time - how quickly it reaches different target temperatures from cold, how the heating curve changes with room conditions - and uses this data to continuously optimize the control's preheat scheduling. The smart timer uses the learned curve to calculate the latest possible start time for the sauna to be at the desired temperature at the desired moment, starting the preheat as late as possible to minimize energy use and avoid the sauna overheating and holding temperature while waiting for the bather. Three preset modes allow commonly used session configurations to be saved and recalled with a single tap from either the Fenix panel or the MyHarvia 2 app.
Compatible heaters and expandability - U1, U3, and LTY45
The FX30-U1-U3-XC covers both single-phase (U1, 240V, up to 7kW) and three-phase (U3, 208V, up to 10.5kW) wiring configurations in a single SKU. It is compatible with Harvia Spirit, Cilindro, Club, and Virta series heaters within the specified load range. It is not compatible with Virta Combi heaters (which require the FX30C series) or with heaters above the FX30's native capacity. For installations requiring higher output, the FX30 can be expanded with the optional Harvia LTY45 power extension unit (sold separately), extending coverage to higher-power heaters without replacing the control system. The FX45-U1-U3-XC is the alternative for installations up to 11kW/240V or 15kW/208V that do not require the LTY45 expansion path.

Smart timer - sauna ready at exactly the right moment
Using the learned heating curve, the smart timer calculates the latest possible start time for the sauna to be at the target temperature when the bather wants it ready. Rather than starting a fixed time early and having the sauna sit hot, the FX30 starts the preheat at the correct moment - saving energy and ensuring the sauna is at peak temperature on arrival, not over-held.
3 presets plus favorites - one-tap session starts
Three saved preset modes store complete session configurations - temperature, time, and other parameters - that can be activated with a single tap from either the 4.3" Fenix panel or the MyHarvia 2 app. Additional favorites extend beyond the three standard presets. For households or facilities with regular session patterns, preset access eliminates repeated manual configuration at the start of every session.
Expandable with LTY45 for higher loads
For installations where the FX30's 7kW/240V or 10.5kW/208V native capacity is insufficient, the LTY45 power extension unit (sold separately) can be added to extend the system to higher heater outputs without replacing the FX30 control itself. This expansion path avoids the need to step up to the FX45 for borderline load requirements and allows the same Fenix panel and MyHarvia 2 setup to serve a wider range of heater sizes.
Covers U1 and U3 - one SKU for both phases
The FX30-U1-U3-XC supports both single-phase 240V (U1) and three-phase 208V (U3) wiring configurations. For commercial installations on three-phase power, the same FX30 control unit is used with the appropriate three-phase wiring configuration per the IOM. No separate U3-specific SKU is required.

Warranty
1-year limited warranty
The Harvia Fenix FX30-U1-U3-XC is covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase for both consumer and commercial use. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials under normal use conditions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, use with non-compatible heaters (including Virta Combi), exceeding the rated load without the LTY45 extension unit, or failure to follow the installation guidelines in the IOM. A licensed electrician is required for all electrical connections. Proof of purchase from an authorized Harvia dealer is required for warranty claims. We are an authorized Harvia dealer.
