The Bestcare BestStand SA228 is designed to handle more demanding patient transfer needs with a robust 500 lb weight capacity. This Sit to Stand Patient Lift is intended to assist with standing from a seated position while using the commode, changing clothes and/or to relieve pressure.
Adjustable, Portable Sit-to-Stand Lift
The SA182 Sit-to-Stand Lift is easy to move in tight spaces and fits under beds or chairs. It has a removable footplate for flexible transfers, an adjustable knee pad for a secure fit, and a lift height up to 60.5" for full sit-to-stand support.
With its reinforced frame, the SA228 is built to support larger individuals without sacrificing maneuverability. Measuring just 24.9" wide when closed, it can easily navigate tight hallways and doorways.
Electric or Hydraulic Operation
Choose the SA182 for electric controls or the SA182H for hydraulic operation. The SA228 is available as the SA228H (Hydraulic) or the upgraded SA228 (Electric). Both versions deliver smooth and controlled lifts, with the electric option offering powered convenience at the push of a button.
Works with Multiple Bestcare Stand-Assist Slings
The SA182 pairs with various Bestcare slings for torso, underarm, or bariatric support. This ensures safe, stable transfers tailored to each user's needs. Compatible Bestcare sling types include: Stand Assist Sling and Sani Toileting Sling.

- Manufacturer offers a limited warranty on all patient lifts, slings and accessories to be free of defects in workmanship and product performance.
- This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- All warranty claims must be submitted by the authorized dealer or distributor who originally sold the product with proper proof of sale and serial number where applicable.
- Prior Return Authorization (RA) from manufacturer is required for all warranty replacements.
- Manufacturer reserves the right to repair or replace only defective parts or accessories in lieu of a complete new patient lift.
- The repaired or replacement part shall be warranted for a period equal to the remainder of the warranty period of the defective part.
- This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse.
- Parts under warranty will be covered at no cost.
- Any labor cost for service under warranty is not covered as per our terms of sale.
- Standard manufacturer terms & conditions apply for warranty of this product.
