ObboMed 3682 UltraAir LAL Mattress maximizes comfort and support for adults of all ages living with stage 1-4 pressure ulcers. This innovative mattress provides a proprietary 15-degree self-lateral rotation utilizing cone-shaped air cells specially designed for users who need to spend at least fifteen hours per day in bed. Safely supporting weight up to 550 pounds, the continuously deflating and inflating cone-shaped air cells provide the user with a regular wave and soft self-lateral rotation via alternating pressure. This therapy aids in redistributing the user's weight to alleviate pressure points, while simultaneously stimulating blood flow to nourish the skin and prevent bedsores.

Along with its 15-degree rotation, the UltraAir additionally offers adjustable 25-degree and 40-degree lateral rotation angles to meet the unique requirements of each user. Designed with a combination of thermoplastic polyurethane and nylon (TPU), the innovative air cells of the mattress are airtight with high-frequency heat-sealing, offering convenient protection against liquids and spills.

User safety is optimized with the bed's 24-hour power outage protection, alerting users with audible and visual warning signals if there is low air pressure (below 5mmHg) or a power outage. During a loss of air and/or electrical power, the bottom layer of the mattress will stay inflated if the air hose remains connected to the control unit. Easy to operate, the control unit located on the footboard of the bed manages every function required. ObboMed's warmer system delivers soothing and relaxing heat distributed directly above the alternating air cells along the patient's back. This dependable source of warmth supports the immune system, helps improve circulation, and optimizes patient comfort.

Patented inflatable guardrails are another exclusive feature of this premium air mattress, delivering soft yet firm support and flexibility. Coupled with the ability of the mattress to sink 5 inches deep while the alternating and self-wave-rotation are activated, this creates a tall bolster that will safely maintain the patient's position on the bed even during 40-degree rotation while still allowing caregivers to easily reach them when needed. The dynamic guardrail sits 4 inches above the bolster, which sits 5 inches above the mattress's sunken surface, creating a healthy 9 inches of distance between the mattress and the top of the guardrail.

Patented “EASY GO”bedpan: One person and one push of a button quickly creates a recessed opening to place a bedpan, avoiding a long preparation procedure and quickly restore to its original status. Only one caregiver is needed to perform the Bedpan function on the control display. When activated, the mattress system deflates within 20 seconds at the buttock area of the mattress cover sheet to create an opening where a bedpan can be inserted directly on the top cover.
4. Patented Inflatable Guardrails: Air gives patients flexibility to bend, freeing the arms, legs or body stuck between the mattress and bed frame guardrails. The air cells within the sleeves offer soft but strong support as well as flexibility to recover their shape.
