This kit comes with an optional door which you only need to purchase if you want to bathe in a tub full of water. Without the optional door, you can simply use a shower curtain while you shower standing or sitting. But, one of the most innovative parts of the AmeriGlide kit is the stainless steel door and rubber seal. Using several magnets that are placed onto the lip, it easily attaches to the steel and rubber to hold it in place and provide you with a strong, lightweight steel door and fantastic seal which allows you to bathe in a relaxing warm bath.

Very helpful as the bathroom we are using is very small. It allows us to transfer my grandmother from her wheelchair onto this transport chair where we have more space to do so aand then just roll her over the actual toilet. We recently ued it in the shower stall as well. It took two of us to get her over the large tiled lip of the shower stall but it worked and kept us from having to put a whole new handicap shower instralled.
